Chapter 6 ~ Thank

guys dropped me off at their house. I smiled as I waved good bye.
"Good luck!" I called out.
"Thanks!"
Came the response. I laughed, and walked in the house with Licorice
following.
"Welcome
home, Licorice!" I said to her, grateful to have a companion
in the house while the guys were out. Tike, Brian's Chihuahua,
trotted up, and welcomed me. "Hey, Tike!" I grabbed
my bag, and pulled out the six things I had in there- Beanie Babies.
I looked around for 5 peices of paper, and finally found a pad.
I quickly scribbled a note for each guy, and put the appropriate
Beanie with it on their pillows.

I know
I know, you guys already have more Beanie Babies than you have
room for, but I couldnt resist... that and I had no idea what
else. ;) But anyway, seriously. I have a huge favor to ask you...
and I don't know how to put this. I'll just start off by saying
that my real dad is a...well.... *sigh* never mind. I was just
wondering if.... ugh how do I say this?... if you could kind of
be.... like a father.... yea... cuz I kno you guys will, hopefully
*smiles* kinda act like my big brothers, and I was just hoping
you could you know, go a step further... I jsut need someone taht
I could come talk to about abything and everything, you know...
*sigh* I kno it's nothing special or big, but could you do that
little favor for me? It's all I ask of you... Thank you. :)

as I pulled the Derby Beanie Babie out of the bag and put it on
Kevvy's pillow.

hun. I know we haven't really talked but... hey, I haven't talked
to most of you guys. That's not the point, though. Anyway, this
is just a little thank you kidna thing... just for accepting me,
because I know it must be really hard. After all, Brian and I
met what, 6 or 7 hours ago? And we're already in love? And especially
after the whole Shelly thing... Nick, I know he's your best friend.
And I kno you'd hate to see him hurt. I would, too. I swear on
my life that I will not hurt him. And if I do...well....I guess
that would be the end of it. Talk to ya later Sweets.

softly, staring at the shiny jelly fish. I figured it would be
kinda mean to get him the shark... after all, he was scared of
sharks at one point in time.

say this to you as well. I realize we didn't chat much, and I
can't wait to get more talking in. That's one thing we have in
common- we love to talk. :) *laughs* I hope you appreciate this
here Panda, cuz I almost bought him for myself! :)

with the note.

out a little monkey from the bag and placed it gently on his pillow.

I love
you- more than words can say. All I know is I'm so happy it happened
this way. I have no idea how, but from the moment I met you I
fell in love. I don't know....whatever. But I really will try
to be good to you. I will try my hardest to make you love me.
And I swear on my life that I will never hurt you- I promise sweet
heart. If I break that promise, then I also swear I will kill
myself- I could never break your heart.
Yes, I had to get you two beanies- Tyk and Licorice :). Also,
kind of like you and I. So different, yet so similar.

I pulled out the lab and the chihuahua. I gave each a kiss on
the nose before I placed them on Brian's bed.
Quickly
I made myself some dinner. After I finished eating, it was around
6. I turned on the TV, hoping something worthwhile was on. I just
settled on MTV. Eventually, I fell asleep, tired from my long
day. Licorice and Tike were curled up against the couch sleeping
also.
