WANETTE

This article states that….. S. R. "Si" Miller (Silas Rea Miller) (b. 1851 in Missouri.), a homesteader near here in 1891, was County Clerk in 1894, then President of State National Bank here in 1897, was a member of WANETTE Lodge #87 - I.O.O.F.

Note: Si Miller is also found in the "Odd Fellows and Rebekah's" photo so this Wanette Lodge #87 I.O.O.F. may be the same as the "Odd Fellows" Lodge.

I have found no other mention of this Lodge in any other published material or newspaper articles.  If anyone has any knowledge of this particular lodge, please contact us.  Thank you!
