We've redeemed ourself with another vacation. ^_^

This time, we went to San Diego! (In other words, we spent two days at Sea World)

My favorite show was the Dolphin show. It seriously made me consider being a Dolphin trainer. When our pictures are done developing, I'll post pictures. We were pretty pissed because we didn't get wet at the Shamu show. We were in the soak zone! *growls unhappily* If you're gonna go, make sure you sit in the soak zone, but at the left or right of the stadium. We sat in the middle, a little to the right, and we didn't get splashed at all!

Did you know there's no smoking in any restaurants in California? Didn't know that till our vacation.

On our way to San Diego, we were eating at this restaurant. Something family-style, fairly cheezy, you know the type. Anyway, we were just about to leave when (I sware to the god and godess) 20 Chinese people walked in. They needed three tables for everyone to sit somewhat comfortably. My Dad told me to take out my camera and take a picture. I told him to shut up. ^_^

Stay at the Handlery if you go -- It was pretty nice. VERY nice pool -- heated and everything!

We also spent an afternoon in Tiujana. I'd rather not talk about it. I wanted to help, but I couldn't. I had some money with me, but my parents wouldn't let me (For just reasons, I assure you). I couldn't bring myself to take pictures, I think now maybe I should have. Let's just say I appreciate my lower-middle-class life much more than I used to.

Tuesday .. June 17th .. 2003
Alright. We just last night (About 10 o'clock) came back from a ... vacation. Of sorts. It was the "vacation from hell" as my mom's put it.

We went to Phoenix (Which was really cool - Me and Mom want to live there). We stayed in the Best Western Executive Park on Central Avenue, only because my dad had a court hearing in Phoenix yesterday.

As soon as we got there, things just got worse and worse. First they screwed up our reservations, so we didn't have connecting rooms. They fixed it, but the rooms were non-smoking, so they got permission to let my parents smoke in the room. We got up to our rooms (Rooms 211 and 212) and the room Me and my brother Tom were sharing was downright lame. It was really gross - And the shower was all kicked in so I couldn't use it. It was also pretty dirty. Needless to say, we spent most of our time in our parent's room. Our TV only had local channels, so for Adult Swim we were in their room.

Then, We went to breakfast the next morning, and everything was fine. Untill we got back to the room, to find my Mother's camera and my Father's watch. We've deducted that the housekeeper's took it, and we didn't get it back.

We spent a crapload of time at the zoo, way toooooo much time. So much time that my hair part is sunburned. *_* my head huuuuurts. I got yelled at when we were at the Phoenix Art Gallery, too. My camera wasn't working right, and I thought it was, and a blonde-haired kid (I say kid because he was in his twenties), got all snotty with me. I apologized, and explained my camera was malfunctioning, but he just told me if it didn't work I couldn't take any pictures. I apologized again, but he walked away like I didn't matter. -_- *sighs* Some people just piss me off, you know?

They had really great art. I got pictures of the samurai swords and kimonos (That's what I got yelled at for "flash photographing"), and some really cool English 19th century-era paintings.

The ride home sucked, too. I fell asleep at a wierd angle, and now my neck hurts.

;_; Ahhh ... That's about it. Working on two new layouts : One for my collective (The Mana one, sadly, has been up far too long), and one for my mother's site. I'll have to manage something simple this time.

Sunday .. April 6th .. 2003
*sighs* I'm all happy today because I was playing The Sims. Let me explain -- See, I have Heero and Duo sims. (You know, Gundam Wing?) I got them to hug and kiss and fall in love. Now they just moved in together. I did it in Heero's house so it's Duo and Heero Yuy (Yes, Duo's name is now Yuy. ^_^).

That's aaaah ... Really about it ...

Oh, except I got out of school on Friday. It was "unity day", technically a sports day, and I'm not really into that whole thing, so ... I didn't have to go. ^_^ I scrubbed the kitchen floor and handwashed all the dishes -- Then I watched Interview with the Vampire. ^_^

I need some anime versions of Lestat and Louis. Maybe Claudia, too. And Marius, Maharet, Mekare, Pandora, Armand, Santiago (Forgive me, but I think he's kinda cool. In a mean, Mana-death-glare sort of way) ... And while we're at it: Gabrielle, Jessie, Madeline, David .... Memnoch, the Body Theif. ^_^ Sorry. Got kinda carried away there. ^_^

Saturday .. March 8th .. 2003
Geez, it's been forever since I've blogged anything ... Months upon months ... Just letting everyone know that I'm still alive, I guess. ^_^ New layout -- Nao from Kagrra. Bask in the Lavender.

Oh, I've reorganized my stuff, too. Since no one joined my cliques, I trashed them. (^_^ Don't feel bad, they were crappy ideas, anyway) I have a new Cartoon Dolls site called "Morbid Curiosity". That's subject to change, I think. I'm thinking about "Random Acts of Mindlessness" from the Tatu song "Show me Love". I LOOOVE Tatu -- They're my favorite English-speaking band.

Due 'le Quartz is now tied with Siam Shade as my favorite JRock band. T.M. Revolution's somewhere up close, too. Due to my recent love with Rurouni Kenshin -- If you haven't seen it, you MUST, It's on every night after Yu Yu Hakusho -- I downloaded some of the ending songs, trying to see if I could find the one I had heard on the show. Those credits whip by so fast I couldn't read it. -__-; Sorry, I'm probabally just going blind. o_0

I've got "Heart of Sword" by T.M. Revolution (Which happened to be the song I was looking for), "1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou" by Siam Shade, "Tactics" by The Yellow Monkey, "Fourth Avenue Cafe" by L'arc en Ciel, "Namida wa Shitteru" by Mayu Suzukaze and "Dame" by Izumi You. All from Rurouni Kenshin. I also have "My Will" by Dream from Inu Yasha.

I'm on a total anime fix, I'm sorry. The day after I saw the first episode of Rurouni Kenshin, I went searching for fanfiction. ^_^; To my surprise (And happiness) Sanosuke x Kenshin is a popular Yaoi pairing around FF.net. It reminds me of my Gundam Wing Heero x Duo fics.
