April 30th, Saturday ~ Last Call

Too many things to do and to remember. Even my checklist isn't helping much. Well, maybe a little. Because every minute I keep adding things on the list and it grow longer and longer. Though I crossed the one that I have settled, I still keep them on the list, just to make sure.

But at least the money matter has settle a bit. Got my Feb & March salary. Alhamdulillah..berkat baca doa 1000 dinar :) also I got one freelance job on hand right now. Let's hit the mall!! =P

April 27th, Wednesday ~ Looong Time No Sea :)

Got a sms from Apai this morning saying he's in town. Actually on his way back from Perak to Johor and felt tired so he and his friend decided to stop at Melaka to get some rest before continuing their journey. He's staying at Renaissance Hotel, just a few blocks from Graha Maju where I work. So he called up to meet me and we had breakfast. Or more likely, he's eating and I just accompanying him. It's been 3 years plus since I last met him on his wedding. Talked about a lot of things in the past, present and future. I gave him my invitation card, hoping he'll come with his wife and baby ( 1 year plus ).

April 27th, Wednesday ~ Ouucchh!!

This morning I accidentally flipped my right thumb when I was trying to put the clothes into the drain tub ( it's a semi-auto washing machine ). It's like, my thumb flipped backward and it hurts like crazy. I thought I'd broken my thumb. Mak applied some oil and rubbed on it slowly. So difficult to do anything after that using my right hand.

April 25th, Monday ~ Without You

01.30 pm~Baru lps lunch. Just a light meal. Am trying to maintain 'this' figure =P. Baju dah fitting, nanti x muat plak =P. Kalau Lanun tau mesti dia geram. Makan banyak-banyak tau, that's what he always told me. The problem is, my stomach has certain stage where it couldn't accept anything more.

Ngantuk sket. Kalau ngadu kat Lanun, mesti dia kata cuba lari setempat, mesti hilang ngantuk. And then I'll laugh, talk a little more with him and the sleepiness will gone. Clearly, he's the doctor of my heart :) tapi skrg dia tgh latihan kawad. X boleh kacau. Isk... pekena nescafe baru terang mata ni kot...mizi, satu peket nescafe ye :P ooppss...mizi x datang lah..tapi takpe..dia mesti bagi punye.. ni kan 'budak kecik' dia =P

Lanun dear is at Alor Setar right now, practicing for his wing parade next month- 05 May 2005. Though his course ( the Tactical Observer Course, or co-pilot in layman term ) ended early this year but he have to wait for the pilot course to finish before getting his wing, formally.

Am busy writing names & addresses on my invitation card. Though I could easily print them all up but I just wanted them to feel that I am inviting them sincerely and would be honoured if they could make it to my wedding. And the fact that my handwriting is a bit, err.. not too tidy, I hope they'd appreciate my effort :) and it's a good thing I kept most of their addresses in my add book. The rest, well, just wait for my invitation via email, ok?

I realised there's still many things to fix about this i-frame I'm currently using for my website. Because the setting for each pc is different from mine, so what I view here may not look good on ur pc. Will asked mizi to advise me about this.

April 23rd, Saturday ~ White Lie

Nothing much to do today, just a routine checking on the server's space and monitoring the 4 processors' job. So far everything is ok. Idle time is 90%-100%, which means the system is running smoothly. No phone calls, yet. Quiet Saturday. Mizi isn't in today, attending a course.

Sometimes you just have to lie about something because you don't want to cause any trouble of explaining things to someone. But the problem is, once you lied, you have to keep on lying in order to cover the first lie u told. And it's neverending. Just hope no trouble arise today. Hopes so high.

April 22nd, Friday ~ Bittersweet Memories

What happened early this morning really came as a shocked to all of us. Remember last month my cousin Tati got married to Ujang? He met with an accident early this morning ( around midnight or 1 @ 2 am ) and injured badly. I didn't know that until I got a phone call from her at 3.45 am this morning asking me to go to her house and asked her mother to go back to the hospital because Ujang has passed away. I was still deep in my sleep and asked who's on the phone. When she told me her name, I was snapped to reality and everything became clear in my head. She was sobbing so hard over the phone that I couldn't make out what she said, I could only say be patient and went out to tell her mother. At that time her mother just arrived from the hospital and when I delivered the sad news, she calmly went out and get into the house to wake up her husband and they went to the hospital again. From what I heard this morning, he was hit by a Proton Saga at Pekan Umbai, his bike was totally wrecked. His hand was and the doctor were going to amputate him but he lost too many blood, maybe that's why he couldn't hold any longer.

By this time words are spreading around the village and to our relatives outside of Melaka. Sad, but we all have to accept it as fate. I really don't know how my cousin is going on without her husband after being married for just a month. Orang kata, masih dalam tempoh honeymoon lagi. I can only hope that she be strong and, ermm..I don't know...just pray for her husband's soul. This is so hard. Easier said than done, I know. I know. I still have her invitation card which I made for her as her wedding gift. And their pictures on the dias. This is really, really hard.

April 20th, Wednesday ~ Karma

My neighbour passed away last night at 10 pm. Visited arwah this morning before I went to the office but her body was not there-already brought to the mosque to be buried there. Al - Fatihah.

I miss him. So much. One month to go.

April 19th, Tuesday ~ Trust

Is it true, that when you are in love with someone you trust everything that they say is true? Actually this thought came off to me after the boys ( Mizi & Aim ) laughed me off when I said that Superlynx jet fighter can go reverse. Diaorg gelak macam aku ni org giler cakap x betul. I said, it's true! Lanun said so. And they started accusing me to be blinded of the fact just because he's my fiancee, so I have to believe everything that he said. Gosh, I never thought like that! Of course, I aggree that to make a relationship works, we have to trust each other, among many other things. But it's not like I'm going to take in everything he said to me. And as much as I wanted to tell them that Lanun dear will never lie to me about this ( the reverse superlynx ) I guess it's not worth the trouble. They don't know him the way I do. It took more than 7 years to be at this stage where I know I can trust anything he said. No doubts.

Will do an extensive search about the superlynx. Found about the navy's official website. Still under progress.

2.48 pm- Finally, I remembered this website- askjeeves.com so I type the question- can Super Lynx reverse and yes, it gaves me the answer I was looking for- that Super Lynx does reverse!. Try to find ( on the page ) and u'll find in the article that says something like this- "..and a reverse-direction tail rotor;...". Haa..Baru puas hati :) Lanun dear said it can go reverse at 40-60km/h and climb vertically.

April 18th, Monday ~ Oh SHIMA!

Those who read my entries previously should know what's the title is about. Or for those who don't know ( duh..) it's Shoot! It's Monday Again!

Sunday- Chef Wann in the house! Mak wanted to have nasi ayam for lunch so I prepared the dish. Chicken marinated with special ingredients, fried in perfect golden, the soup was marvellous, the chilli is just right, with crispy salad and red juicy tomatoes. Bon Appetit!

But one thing ruined my perfect Sunday. My fav herc t-shirt, what used to be white now is pink. Ugly pink. Ugghhh!!! Hate that person who took it and put it in the washing machine along with my brother's maroon cadar ( I always isolate it from other dirty clothes and washed it separately ). Tried to bleache it using Clorox but to no avail. Now it's pink. Well, nothing's wrong with the color but I just wanted my fav white t-shirt back. That's all. Is it too much to ask for?

April 13th, Wednesday ~ The Baby's Here!

Here's a bunch of wishes and congrats to my buddy Sahar whose wife ( Suzy ) gave birth to a baby girl early yesterday morning (12th April). Same day as my future f-i-l :) happy birthday pakcik..

April 12th, Tuesday ~ Late Night

RK staffs are running heavy process to gather all data in their databases so we need make a back up, just incase something happened. Plus the size of the hard disk ( 3 hard disks, each is about 100GB ) is almost full- only 4% left so we need to dump the files into a backup tape and free some space. Took almost 4 hours to complete the task. Arrived home at 11.50 pm. Tired and hungry.

Mak went to JB with Abah last night so I have to wake up a bit earlier to prepared the breakfast and did the laundry. Adut is not going out this morning so I left a bunch of things-to-do to her :) here's a good news- she's accepted to do matriculation at one of the centre at Kuala Pilah. Congrats sis :) unfotch she has to register there on 16th of May, one week before my wedding. So hopefully she can come home for the weekend. Hopefully.

April 11th, Monday ~ So Far Away

My head was pounding like crazy this morning.

Went to Merlimau yesterday morning to settle something. On the way back I let my sister Adut drove. Still tersengguk- sengguk. Scary, yes but the road is deserted, not many vehivles using it and I put the emergency sign on to alert any car and they could bypass us if they can't stand driving behind us. And my hand always ready to pull the hand brake should anything happen. Looking at the way she shifted the gear like she's going to break the stick, I'm not sure if I'll let her drive MAX again. Well, not until she got her license.

Kinda sleepy. Monday blues, I guess. Lanun dear is having the wing parade's training at Alor Setar, Kedah. That was like 606 km from Melaka. Another 39 agonizingly, long, long days.

April 8th, Friday ~ Printing Process

Paid my parking summon at MBMB counter. Then I went to Blossom's office at the incubator. Printing something. The Konica Minolta laser jet printer works like a charm- my invitation cards look perfect =P

Finished reading the book. Though the author didn't write so much as what the big secret behind the Grail and Rose Magdalene and all the codes and anagrams, I think I got the picture. Let's say someone knows something about Hang Tuah legends and what they knew is going to change the history, guess other people might not like it and preferred the history remained intact as it was so there must be some conflicts there. That's what happened in the story. The Priory of Sion wanted to protect the secret while the other group, Opus Dei wanted to steal it because they thought The Priory failed to keep it and might revealed the powerful secret. Still vaguely understand the whole story but I'm sure after reading it two or three times after this I'll get the picture clearly.

April 6th, Wednesday ~ Iframe, Uploaded

April 5th, Tuesday ~ Cable Unplagged

One staff called this morning complaining that she couldn't get into the system. Something wrong with the database. Sure, everything is the system's fault to them. Anyway I went upstairs to check on the pc. The network icon at the corner of the desktop was showing the status- one second it's plugged and the next second it's unplugged. So Aim checked the hub- sure enough, the cable has been accidentally pull out and it has almost came off the port. We plugged it in securely and the system works like usual. Sometimes the situation is not that serious- they should have called the IT staff first before calling us. But like I said, it's always our fault. Always.

If you guys realized my interface sometimes didn't come out right because currently I used frames. So I cut the background picture into 5-6 sections before re-arranging them all in their respective frame. So much hasles and times needed to arrange the frames so that the frames didn't collide with one or another. Then I learnt about iframe. Oh, this is the solution of my problem! So I just need i background picture, and I used div to place the iframe to where I wanted it to be. Voila! But I haven't uploaded them here ye. Will do so soon, ok?

Already read a quarter of the book. best bangat! =P The agent and the professor are cracking the code. Who knews, I learnt more about Da Vinci, Leonardo and other historical facts in the book :) can't wait what exactly behind the Monalisa painting and the secrets so deeply protected by the cult. Don't worry, getting there!

April 4th, Monday ~ Cracking Up

We were suppose to have monthly meeting with PAM this morning. But no presentative from RK came, so we had to postponed the meeting until further notice. Ugh. They are going to make a report about this to the Pengurus Besar. They sounded serious, really. Hope things won't go messy after this.

What a rain yesterday. Poured heavy and it rained the whole day. And what a date too =P Got the book by Dan Brown-The Da Vinci's Code. Thnx hon :)

April 1st, Friday ~ As Times Goes By

It's been a one hectic month. So hopefully we are eady to stand for ourselves this time onward. Actually it's suppose to be an easy job if no one tried to do something to the system and then something funny will come out and then that someone will try to blame us for providing them a bad system. Ha. How untrue. For example yesterday is the end of March, so everybody was trying to do the monthly process- financial people, meter reader, and so on. So when we checked the system network ( we monitor the network all the time ), all 4 processors were in used up to 100%! can u believed that? So as expected the network got a lot slower, and everybody came back late yesterday. What to do, it's inevitable.

And today I forgot to bring my handphone. Ahh... beautiful. So today I'm going to have a peaceful day :)

Got back from work at 6.30 pm yesterday. Stopped by at Thai Kuang. Found the book- 150 Contoh Karangan Bahasa Melayu UPSR by Rozieta and published by Fajar Bakti. Feel good :)
