Finally, I managed to squeeze my time to write here- kinda hooked up with the montage for KTIM's launching. Maybe some of you wanted to know a little bit about my engagement which took place last Sunday (1st Feb 2004). So here goes..the guests came as early as 12.00 noon, male guests sat at the serambi and after Pak Wahab arrived (Imam) he led bacaan tahlil and doa selamat. After that the feast began-some inside, some outside (we rented a balai). I took my second bath and prepared myself for make up. Lanun's side arrived at 2.50 pm and after all the talking, finally his sister came in my room first, bringing the ring. Then his mother came and put the ring on my right finger. I took her hand and kissed it. After that she hold me and kissed my forehead twice, and the feeling almost bring me to tear. I mean, I only get that from my own birth mother and now getting it from somebody else, I know she was giving me a welcoming gesture as in, to accept me as a new member of her family. After that the whole fellowship (",) came in and his sister introduced them one by one. I was a little nervous coz with too many unknown faces infront of me and the whole attention was on me now. But I tried to smile and say a few words with them. We took a few pictures and then we exchanged the hantaran-11 from him and we replied 15. fyi he gave half of duit belanja-we called it "naik belanja". Then all the guests went outside to eat. Anyway I was so glad it was over. Lanun came as well, but he didn't get inside,waited outside in my next door relative's house. He wore light blue shirt with slack. Haven't seen him for 2 months (after my birthday last nov) seeing him again from far and not able to talk to him almost break my heart. Takpelah...some other time..he said he bought me a new book as a gift for our engagement. I bought him something too, so hope he'll be home soon and we can exchange our gift. I sincerely would like to convey my deepest gratitude to all the people who helped my family and myself these 2-3 days. Insya Allah setahun lagi kita jumpa lagi ye.. ;P btw,guys,gambar lum upload lagi..nanti ye,bz sket la ni.nanti dah settle semua baru upload.. ~~to be continue..

Found Channel 9 last night so I slept a little late-11.40 pm watching all the new programmes. Their presentation is quite different actually, interesting animation, interesting series, very eye-catching.Some of the programmes I watched last night were Entertainment Tonight (ET) where they were talking about what happened during the Super Bowl programme (CBS)- ya know..when Justin Timberlake snatched Janet Jackson's front cover and it was supposed to have another layer of clothes to cover her breast, only to revealed her boob instead! Aiya.. So embarrassing.. and they say Justin was singing to a part of his song "..I'm gonna get you naked by the end of this song.." and how true..! They were debating either it was unintentional or they actually planned to do that on stage. Imagine about 2 million ppl were watching it broadcasted live on tv. perghh..dasat.. Anyway after that they have Freakylinks, followed by Haunted-about a private investigator who experienced strange things when he tried to solve a case. So if you guys want some varieties and getting bored with the same programmes aired on other channels, why don't you tuned in to Channel Nine, I'm sure you won't regret this. What else do you have to lose? Lanun dear called me this morning from his house. I was a little shocked because usually the only reason he came home on working day will be cause of his mother-she's got some problem with her heart. But it turned out that she was admitted to the hospital for other reason- food poisoning, and now she's ok. Wow, that's really a relief. oh, btw, he asked me out for lunch today. Ehmm.. ;) Unfotch I didn't bring the CD I brought for him yesterday as our engagement gift..hampeh.com.. takpelah..some other time..

Had to work today. Took half day yesterday to see lanun before he went back to Subang coz he has to attend a class today. Gave him the cd (Blue latest album, Guilty) and a card. Felt a little pang inside my heart to see the bus took him away from me. Don't know when will I see him again. My eyes got watery but somehow I mustered the strength to smile and waved at him. The silence inside my car on my way back is killing me, still can smell his perfume but he's not there. ..I see you in the sunlight,I hear your voice everywhere..I run to tenderly hold you but darling you won't be there.. Sealed With A Kiss by Jason Donovan *sigh* I know I shouldn't complaint too much but being far from each other is always difficult for me..and seeing the way he looked at me before he went I know he felt the same way too. I'll be ok, I guess. I have to.

You won't believe it guys!! If some of you who remember reading my entry about how I had wanted a transparent umbrella? This morning my cousin who just came back from Singapore last night said she found it, so she brought me one-yellow in color. No red or white as I requested but it's good enough for me :) hmm.. a good start for my Monday morning (",). Spent my weekend reading the new book lanun dear gave to me as our engagement gift- David Beckham-My Side. I really appreciate the way he supported my hobby-so many times he accompanied me to my fav bookstore (The Chapter, Mahkota Parade) and waited patiently while I looked for books,read through them, sometimes it took more than 1 hour before I chose one (and sometimes I don't even buy any of them) but he never complained. Maybe because, that's the only time he got to really 'look' at me coz when I was surrounded by books I'm not aware of anything-it's just me and the book. So it's a fair deal- I got the book, and he 'got' me =P

Uploaded my engagement pictures (check out the pictures page) mind you, I look horrible :( the tudung was made from satin so it's so difficult to wear it according to my usual appearance. So I made a mental note- next time buy my own tudung! And the make up,well..what can I say.. if only I can turn back time.. Anyway more to come, as this are the pictures taken by digital camera, still waiting for the other camera to finish the film.

A few updates ~~ 

The launching of KTIM's new Admin and Academic Complex which took place last Saturday went on smoothly inspite of some difficulties we faced to set up the projector for the montage presentation because it was held outdoor at 3 pm and under the clear bright blue skies with no cloud at all, you can't see anything on the big white screen. So we changed the projector 3 times-the first that claimed so-called high resolution (don't wanna put the brand here,but it's very well-known among its type). The second projector is quite ok but my boss still not very satisfied with the pictures so we got another one. At least the people in the first 10 rows can see it, so we settled on this one. After CM gave his speech the mc announced for the CM to slid his smart card into the reader and click on the button so that the montage can start.We assigned 3 students to get prepared behind the screen with 3 long rounded boxes and at the end of the presentation they twisted the boxes colourful confetti bursted out and I was so excited to hear the audience gave their big applause :) Later they all congratulated En Yuseni, the committee member of the evening event who responsible for the launching's gimmick. My boss also looked so pleased with my job :) alhamdulillah..although we did this one for free, it's a good promotion for our company actually. Hopefully more business for us after this. Sunday- doing nothing much-home chores, washing, cleaning, re-arranging furnitures,dusting,sweeping,etc etc. Just realized how my back ache so much, probably because driving to and fro KTIM (took 1 hour to get there, plus the road condition is very, very poor). Sometimes we went there with En Irwan's car but sometimes (more often this week) we have to go there by ourselves (which meant, I have to drive MAX). letih.. Monday-En Irwan had said to give us the day off today unfotch Adah has to attend a meeting at KTIM today to present the portal; and since En Irwan also has a meeting at another place at the same time, I have to drive her there. Also happy 6th birthday to my nephew Nabil Arif (16.02)-nanti mak lang beli kek ye..(",)

Added a guestbook today (powered by Bravenet). Ok, not that I dont wanna use my own guestbook (already have one using php and mysql) but I have a little problem to upload them- the free space geocities so kindly provide to me doesn't allow me to do so, unless I upgraded to their service, which mean I have to pay for the service! so you can understand the situation..Maybe some other time, when I have my own space (i.e www.wann.com) then I'll use my own guestbook,ok? In the mean time please be satisfy with the guestbook, and do drop me ur comments or anything- don't forget to leave ur name, I would like to know who visited me here ;) Will attend Virtual Melaka's new site launching www.melakainfo.com tonight with Adah (representing En Irwan as he has another important appointment tonight).

5.10 pm-when I came back from surau there're 2 sms on my hphone-both are from Farid and Jea saying she's safely delivered a baby girl at 12.30 pm today, weight 2.78 kg. syukur alhamdulillah.. will call Farid (her husband) tonight. First of all I would like to wish all of you guys Happy New Year 1425H - may Allah bless us all throughout this year. My old primary school's classmate got married last weekend so it's very much like a reunion - many of us came and chatted and laughing at each other's changing. Although we all live nearby but we hardly see each other because most of us work outside of Malacca so this opportunity is very rare- unfotch the groom can't join us :) coincidentally he married Intan's cousin (still remember her?) so looks like the community was getting bigger and bigger coz some of us knew her friends and vice versa. It's nice to meet new people :) Today my dear friend Jea is going to undergo an operation of her first baby-a caesarean operation. Actually she's not due until next month (08.03.04) but since she got some implication with the baby-the baby's position is inverse so the doctor decided that they will have to take the baby out 2 weeks earlier- through the operation. Called her last night-she sounded calm and all the family was there-her parents, her sister, her parents-in-law- all there to support her. Unfotch I can't be there with her so I just say all the best, may Allah protect her and the baby, Insya Allah..

*sigh* Not in the good mood today. Haven't heard from him like, 11 days. Maybe he hasn't settled his phone bill,yet. Don't wanna call him on week days. Can't call him during the weekend either (my sis 'conquered' the phone). tsk..tsk.. "O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?"

Watched Freakylinks and Haunted (Channel 9) last night. After that I couldn't sleep- tossed right and left, thinking about him. Allah knows how much I miss him..! So finally, when I can't take it any more I got off the bed and called him. It's midnight, I knew he's still up and I really don't want to disturb him studying but I just have to- so I called. So good to hear his voice again.. He's still at the study room, preparing for his sortie today. So we talked, like, 3 minutes but it's enough for me- knowing that he's doing just fine. Maybe I let my mind wandering too far, imagining the impossibles that left me worried over nothing actually. Got my goodnight kiss (",) then I managed to sleep like a baby till this morning..aahh.. the power of love =P During lunch hour I went to MCIS office to settle my insurance payment. After that we (Ina and I) stopped by Jaya Jusco bcoz she wanted to buy something. But to our dismay the shopping centre was closed! How shocking, coz I never heard it's ever been closed before. Then we saw a notice to the customers saying that from today they will open for business at 6.00 pm every Thursday due to the stocks counting. Did u all know that there're 5 Sundays this month? It happens once in 28 years, so it will happen next in 2032, 2060, 2088. Wow, I didn't notice that until I got an email from a friend yesterday. This morning while tumbling over radio station (sometimes Hitz.fm played really bad song-any song that I can't sing is a bad song :P ) there's a dj talking about if you have one extra day in ur life, how would u spend it? So there was this caller (a woman) said that, if she had that extra one day she'll get married coz she and her boyfriend are very, very busy to do it. So the dj said that marriage, is something you need to plan,right? the caller said it's difficult to do so because it's a long distance relationship, her boyfriend is not there, somewhere far ( can't remember if she mentioned the place ) anyway the dj suggested something, if she got that extra one day then one of them should fly to see the other one, sit down and just took one hour quality time to really, really talk about it and planned it,right? What I think is, if u really are that busy, and that extra one day will not happen in a thousand year, just get somebody else to do it for you- like a wedding planner, geddit? There you go. Problem solved :)

I would like to wish a friend of mine who celebrated his 25th birthday today-to Najib, Happy birthday, may Allah bless u always..one year older yet as special as ever :) hope you achieved what u want in this life and don't forget to invite me if you plan to get married,ok?
