Feb 1st, Tuesday ~~ Truly Blessed

It's been a year since lanun dear and me got engaged. Alhamdulillah, we managed to go through this 'trial period' and now it's time to wrapped things up *hint, hint*. Honestly, I never thought that our love can possibly grow fonder and deeper than it aready has, but it does. Every day, every minute, every milisecond..Such an amazing thing to happen to me. can't help it, really. Thanks hon, for everything that you've done for me all this year.

Next week we have 4 days off- Chinese New Year and 1 Muharram ( plus Saturday- subtitute for the first Saturday where we have to work ). But I have another thing to do this weeked. No...I'm not going out with him.. =P I have to attend the KPKI course at Masjid Al-Azim *hint,hint*. Wish me luck guys!

Feb 7th, Monday ~~ A Promise

Still a bit stiff at my shoulder and my back- caused by sitting too long during the KPKI course. The what? Oh, KPKI. It stands for Kursus Pra Perkahwinan & Kekeluargaan Islam held by the Jabatan Agama Islam Melaka. It's 2 days, started from 8.15 am Saturday until 5.00 pm and continues teh next day, same time. Alhamdulillah, ceramahnya bagus. Banyak pengetahuan yang dikongsi sama. Insaf rasanya. Made many new friends. Dalam satu sesi, ustaz penceramah ni bertanya kepada kami semua. Kalau lah kita berjumpa dengan orang lain yang lebih cantik, lebih bergaya, lebih berharta dari pasangan kita sekarang, adakah kita akan bertukar fikiran dan melepaskan pasangan kita sekarang?

Nasihat beliau, tak usahlah. Don't. Don't leave the one you have now simply because you found somebody else that (you think) is better than the one you are with. Think of the feelings of those you will hurt, those who counted on you. You family. Your partner's family. Malu. Most important is, your couple. Guys, the moment you proposed to your girl to marry you, it's like, you already gave your solid promise to really, really love no other person but her, to take care of her, to protect her, to be by her side no matter what. To accept her as who she is. Nothing more, nothing less. Vice versa- ladies, once you accept the proposal don't breach it. Please. Maybe that other guy is more handsome, richer, etc etc but don't go running to him leaving your bf. Kenapa nak kejar sesuatu yang tak pasti?

But for me it's more than a promise. It's the feeling, the love we share together. Sanggup ke kita tinggalkan tunang kita? Ada ke orang yang ajak bertunang tapi sebenarnya dia main- main je? Pelik lah. Kalau tak sayang, baik tak usah bersama. Don't make that person hold their dreams so high to be with you, when you have nothing towards them. Don't make promises you don't intend to keep them. Don't.

Am trying to update my portfolio page. The one I have now is actually from my previous version. Not enough time to edit them. Will do so when I have the time, promise :)

Feb 14th, Monday ~~ Hijrah

Beautiful Monday. Bright, sunny Monday. That's a relief, since I just washed Max yesterday. Drove a bit slow & relax this morning- 70kmh ( it's always 90-100 kmh ). I don't know why, maybe because I was influenced by that someone who drove that slow all the way to my house just so he has more time with me next to him *blush*. Driving slowly, it reminded me of our conversations last week. It's like, we couldn't have enough of each other. Sure, we haven't seen each other for 2 months. We talked and chatted like there's no tomorrow. For us, at least. He went back to Lumut last Sunday. It's ok, just another 3 agonizing months. Smiled to myself. Lucky me to have someone wonderful like him to be my partner :)

Oh, btw, I wanna wish all of you Happy New Year 1426 Hijrah. It's a definitely a 'hijrah year' for me- from singlehood to weddinghood ( is there such word? ) and hopefully, soon, parenthood :).

Feb 15th, Tuesday ~~ Pray Hard

Lanun dear msg me last night at 12.38 am. Said his father was admitted to the hospital for heart attack. So this morning he applied for emergency leave. Will go and visit his father with my sis this afternoon. Pray hard that he'll be fine, insya Allah...

The internet line was back today. Alhamdulillah. So we all 'busy'- some working, some playing *wink*. The connection was pretty fast- close to 1 MB.

Alhamdulillah, i've visited his father and he looked fine..sudah boleh duduk dan bermain- main dengan cucu dia. Boleh berbual- bual dgn kami. Sebenarnya jantung dia dah lama x ok.. tapi ubat yang pakcik makan untuk sakit kencing manis, membuatkan sakit jantung tu tak berapa rasa. Tapi alhamdulillah, so far nampak ok. kena duduk hospital lagi 2-3 hari for some injections dan doktorpun nak kena tengok condition pakcik macam mana. I left around 1.50 pm, couldn't wait long enough to wait for him to arrive. He must be relieve to find that his father has recovered that well :)

Feb 17th, Thursday ~~ Forgive Me..

It's not alright, and it's not ok. I don't know what to think about it. I don't know how did that happen. Don't even realized when it started. It just sort of..happen. Just hoping that it won't happen again. Forgive me..

Visited Lanun's father yesterday after work. He looked the same, though a bit happy to have all his family around him. And yes, I got teased a lot by his sisters. Even his mother couldn't stand by me that time. Never mind.. I just smiled sheepishly and not even dared to look at him. Segan..

And I had a bad news about my dear friend's mother whose being admitted to the Southern Hosp for diabetes. Pretty bad, and yesterday the doctors had to cut out her leg's thumb and 2 inches upwards. Pity her.. Promised I'll visit her tomorrow, insya Allah.

Out of ideas of how to design KTIM's montage. And when I thought it's hopeless, I was saved by a call! How, you might say? He called last night. And at the same time the tv showed Third Watch. And, oh, you should see my face! The soundtrack was sooo perfect for the montage. And so I asked Ben this morning, said its' Crystal Method's. Downloaded the theme soundtrack, imported into the flash file. and voila! Everything seems to falls into place. Alhamdulillah..thanks hon!

Feb 18th, Friday ~~ Good News

Lanun dear msg me saying his father is getting better this morning. He stayed over at the hospital to accompany his father. And before noon, his father has discharge from the ward. Alhamdulillah...

So this afternoon during lunch hour I still went out to visit Azie's mother atthe Southern Hospital. She looked hmm..sick. One her daughter ( Kak Ju ) was there to accompany her. Actually the problem begins when she's performing Haji about 2-3 weeks ago. She lost her shoes so she just walked without it, only the socks to protect her feet. Unfotch they started to get too dry ( you know how hot it is ) and her feet started to bleed.
Anyway her feet looks ok (it's covered with white clothes) but Kak Ju said they gave her pain killers to reduce the pain. Pray to Allah that she'll get better soon, insya Allah..

Feb 21st, Monday ~~ Untitled

Woke up late this morning. No time for breakfast so I just packed everything and had my breakfast in the office :)

Finished KTIM's montage ( for the time being ) I'm pretty sure after the meeting tomorrow there are surely will be more changes.

Visited Lanun's father yesterday at their house with my parents. He ( my future F-I-L ) looked fine..bubbly, talking non-stop. And my future M-I-L said after his visitors came back, then he'll be catching his breath. Hopefully he'll be in better condition soon..insya Allah..

Feb 22nd, Tuesday ~~ Smallville & Charmed

Yesterday my trainee brought his hard disk to the office. He downloaded the latest Smallville ( Season 4 ) so I copied all 6 episodes from 6-11. The other 1-5 episodes were saved on his friend's computer so I'll give him blank cds to burn all the episodes to complete my collections. And he has Charmed too ( didn't know which season ) but heck, I just took everything. And the result, I got less than 2 GB of my hard disk. Hu hu. Will burn them all in cds. Smallville Season 3 has ended last fortnight and been replaced but this new story called "Tru Calling". Stories bout this girl named Tru ( hence the title ) who has this special ability to hear the voices from dead people. The actress is actually the same one who starred in Buffy the Vampire Slayer ( forgot her name ). Pretty good one.

Feb 23rd, Wednesday ~~ Cleaning

The KTIM's Open Day meeting which was supposed to be held yesterday was postponed until this morning at 10 am so I went straight from my house to the college. Mr Irwan couldn't attend the meeting because his wife is expecting to deliver their baby today.

Seneng was watching Smallville on my pc so I decided to clean up the mess on my boss' desk. Oohh...You should have seen them. It's so full with papers and papers and files and quotations and invoices and god knows what else were up there. I went through each paper, each letter, sort them out and filed them in their respective files. Aahhh... isn't that was such a better view :)

Jan 27th, Sunday ~~ Protest?

Actually, this week I didn't come for work for 3 days. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I didn't do it just for fun. I've had my reason. Very, very concrete reason. Those who knew my case should be agree with me ( or not ) but for once in my life since I started working, I think staying at home sewing and cooking and ironing clothes etc etc were much, much better things to do ( and worthwhile too ) than coming to work, wasting my time & money ( which I don't have much right now ) and sitting there watching Smallville Season 4 and Charmed I-don't-know-which-season. I came for a while on Friday to settle a few things and my boss still have the audacity to call me and asked me to pick up our cheque from Bank Pembangunan and bank in it to our account. He's busy, you know, new baby and all that. Yup, his wife delivered a baby girl safely that Wednesday. Alhamdulillah. But still it didn't change everything.

But since the much awaited cheque is all we have to rely on, I still went and did it. Hopefully, it'll be cleared next week. So as my day. Hopefully.

Mak went to JB with Abah tonight. It's going to be me and my sis in the house. Prayed for our safety the whole week, insya Allah..

I will be assigned to PAM ( Perbadanan Air Melaka ) next week ( 1st March ) to teach the people there the new system installed for them. Don't know what the system is, how does it works, everything is pretty much blurred to me right now but I'll try my best to learn it quickly. Heard it could be messy. *sigh* so what else is new? I might have to transfer there for a few months so I still don't know if they have room for us or any Internet conection so expect no updates this week, ok? I'll try to do it from home but you'll never know :). Don't count on it, ok?

Feb 28th, Monday ~~ Oh SHIMA!!

Back in the office. More Smallville. More Charmed. *sigh*

So it's confirmed- tomorrow I'll start working at PAM. Have to be there before 8.00 am. Oh, I'm going to miss those late mornings :) still don't know how's the situation there so I'll leave my pc here. If there's space I'll bring my pc later. The demo for Faizal will be held here this Thursday. Guess I'll be commuting here and there.

btw, (finally) I knew which season this Charmed is- Season 7.

Can't wait for the weekend. Really can't wait.
