Jan 31st, Monday ~~ Cracking up

Arrived home late- 7.15 pm. The meeting at KTIM. Very tired. Too many vehicles on the road, it make me dizzy. Plus the hot & humid weather. Hu hu. And now am sitting infront of my pc, updating UtusanKarya. Such a painful task coz my went crazy so many times, the internet line disconnected and I have to re-dial up. Again and again.

Jan 30th, Sunday ~~ Pizza, anyone?

My brother wanted to buy my sis a treat so we all went to MP (again) for pizza. It's been a long, long time since I can remember my last pizza ( it's always Kenny Rogers ) so it's a good change. The pizza and the mushroom soup is great ( I was starving at that time -3.15 pm- so I guess I just swallow everything they served me =P)

A friend of mine said he's starting to read the LOTR book and complaining about the book's size ( too thick ) and the font size ( too small ). I know...I've had that too because it took me ONE YEAR to finished reading it all the three books. Even I was suprised for the length of time I took. I'm a fast reader, so the longest time I took ( for english books ) is one week. It's because I kept looking into the previous pages when there're stories that I can't understand or relate to in the current chapter. My advise is- keep reading!! It's so worth it :) and you'll find many chapters that weren't in the movie ( otherwise it'll be 5-6 CD's instead of 3 ) so that's the kind of thing you wouldn't wanna miss, right? He also the one that mentioned the Tony Parson's books- Man & Boy, Man & Wife, One For My Baby ( and I'm proud to say I've read al of them :) ) so let's wait for the next one- The Family Way.

Jan 28th, Friday ~~ Aha...

It's Friday!! Finally!! muahahhahahaa...actually I can't believe it's Friday again because it seems like, it's just yesterday I watched Smallville and I'm going to watch it again.

Today is my sister's 19th birthday. Happy birthday sis!! Planned to buy her a cake tomorrow after work. Might go to MP. Wanna take a look at the sales at Kamdar.

Finished with the Stadium's proposal, now it's KTIM's launching montage. They are going to held an open day & career day next month. The demo is next week. I've told my boss to give them 2 options- pay us, or find someone else to do the montage. So he haven't decided to accept or refuse their request. Heck, they keep on asking us to do this and that. My boss has a weak spot for them so I just design one presentation for them, incase it's really our job. My boss suggested that we use the one we did for them last year ( or was it 2003? I can't remember) but that design was soooo yesterday. And it's free. It was first time, and we just landed the big project with them so it's typical to get all goody- goody with them. Plus it was such a success, maybe that's why they wanted us to do it again. I just hope they pay us a little, at least enough to encourage me to move my skinny hand ( and it's getting skinny) and my head. Just RM2K would be good. RM5K is better =P

Jan 25th, Tuesday ~~ Almost Midnight

11.42 pm. Still had my eyes on the screen. Had to forced them to stay open. With no internet connection in the office, we all are like, 'dead', you know what i'm saying? I rely so much to the Internet, now that I don't have it, it's difficult to do my job. I have to check the portal, uploaded new data for UtusanKarya, and getting important emails from my clients & colleagues. Arrgghh... It's getting on my nerves sometime. When will I be free from this misery..? Help me hon..

Been trying to find any picture of Stadium Hang Jebat because I was supposed to prepare the quotation to design their website and in the documentation, it was stated that I have to deliver the suggested designs in softcopy and hardcopy. Unfotch there are no picture of it on the net. Well, not yet at least. And I would like to be the first to put it online so I'll go there to snap a few pictures and I'll upoladed them here. See if Mr Yahoo or Mr Google can find them here *smirk*.

Jan 23rdh, Sunday ~~ All Alone

6.48 pm ~ all alone on a Sunday evening. Well, not really alone- Adut is sleeping in the room. Mak & abah sent my brother back to his hostel. Malam ni nak tengok Smallville & The Apprentice, tu sebab online ptg2 ni =P

Am sooo happy right now. The 'grey clouds' has go away yesterday so guess everything is pretty much back on track right now. Alhamdulillah. I know different people handle their problems differently, and when it don't seem to go my way, I tend to make it go my way. I'm sorry hon, it's a bad habit, I know but it's difficult to see you struggled with this matters. Though I never doubt in my heart that u can solve it by your own, I just thought that I can help you, some how. Though I always end up messing things up even more than trying to settle them :) but thanks for accepting whatever I told you with open heart, and hope I'll be more cautious when it comes to handling matters on your own, right?

A visitor told me to put the on/off button for my background music. Kinda busy right now so I'll do it once I got the time, ok guys?

Mak is coming to Jb with abah tonight. Another week for me & adut. Hmm.. Anyway I would like to wish all of you 'Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha'. My kampung had 6 korbans ( is this allowed? )that day. So penuhlah peti ais dengan daging- daging korban. Too much red meat is not good for your helth, so go easy on that, ok?

Watched National Treasure, The Polar Express & Meet the Fockers this week. National Treasure- now this is the movie I would recommend all of you to watch. Very exciting, very informative, nice cinematography, nice soundtrack. Nicholas Cage was soo good in this one. Go watch it (or buy the pirated one if you insist =P)

Would like to wish Ema ( whom delivered her baby on 31st Dec) Happy 26th birthday...One year older yet as special as ever :) The joy must be doubled up this year- with her new life as a wife & now, a mother. Anyway hope you stay cute as ever, and wish you good health.

Jan 18th, Tuesday ~~ Bed of Roses

Haven't wrote anything for a week. I don't know. Life isn't all bed of roses, so I've heard. Because it's painful, sometimes. Duri- duri tajam. Things didn't happen the way I planned it. But I can't just sit there doing nothing, complaining and whining all the time. Had to be patience. But until when..? Kinda desperate right now. Hush now Wann, someone else might have problems bigger than what I'm facing right now. When the going gets tough, smile..tomorrow might be worse!. How irony. I used to say that to someone, and now I'm saying this to myself. Life is tough. Guide me, ya Allah, through this hard times...

Jan 13th, Thursday ~~ Dream

Dream. When it's a bad dream we tend to ignore it. When it's good you can't stop thinking about it. How fair is that? People use to say "ala, mimpi, sekadar mainan tidur" but what if there's any clue to show that it was more than just a normal dream. Isk. Entahlah ye. I can only say that, whatever will happen, will happen. But we can pray to keep away such negative thoughts that lingered in our head (esp if it's the bad one). There's no power greater than Allah the Almighty.

PM came to Melaka today ( no, this is not a dream). He came to chair the 4th Biodiversity Meeting held at Biotechnology Institute (the blue-wwhite building next to incubator). Unfotch today the whole country was blacked out 3 times ( if I'm not mistaken ). Pak Lah even had to postponed the meeting because of the problem. Since the incubator use generator so it took only seconds for the electricity to be available again. Although I had to re-do a design 3 times ( because I forgot to save them ) but our situation is far more better than those who worked at the Petronas Tower- watched TV3 news. Imagine if you work at the 80th floor. No electricity. Means no air conditioning. No computers. No faxes. And worse, the lift couldn't be use. Ha. Wonder how people before this era live. Life must be much, much simpler.

Seems like the Tmnet service is getting better- though I use dial up but it rarely disconnected while I was surfing the net ( up to 2 hours! ). Keep up the good work guys :)

And let me say this (or rather, write this - before I forgot again), I would like to congratulate my dear friend Ermawati Ahmad (Ema) whom delivered her baby girl safely on 31st December 2004. The baby is named Nik Nur Izzaty. Hey, you're the mummy now buddy :P. It's a new thing- parenthood- but I know you're prepared to go there. Anyway congrats, and wish the baby grown up to be as cute as you :)

Jan 11th, Tuesday ~~ Ouwwccchhh...!!!

pagi tadi masa nak tumis bawang lengan kita terpercik minyak panas. Hu hu. Hurt like crazy. I put some toothpaste on several places (4 spots) where the hot oil landed. Tak menggelembung but it left some brownish marks on my skin. Hu hu.

And this evening I suffered from stomache. Really, really hurts me. Rasa nak guling- guling dibuatnya.I don't know why, because I had my lunch as usual at 1.15 pm. Maybe the food I took was a bit too spicy..hu hu...pedihnyee....

Jan 10th, Monday ~~ Alone

Mak went to JB with abah yesterday. So that eaaves me wwith adut alone in this house, again. And this week she's working during night shift. Which means I'm going to be sleeping alone in the house. Hope nothing happen until my parents came back this Saturday.

Doing nothing much during the weekend. Some house chores, but mostly I saat infront of the computer making the design for this costumer who came to our company last week, wanna build a website with e-commerce service. No problemo. And he's a friend of En Irwan. That makes thing more easier =P

It's a beautiful 6.49 am Monday morning. Had to prepare the breakfast & lunch now. Have a nice day guys.

Jan 7th, Friday ~~ Early Morning

6.45 am~ am sitting infront of this computer, checking the status of KTIM's portal, the guestbook, the alumni, utusanKarya. Whoaa...a bit too early to start my work? not actually. I'm doing all this from my house. Why? Because there's no internet connection in our office right now. The company which manages it has moved to KL and just kindly informed us one day before doing so. Ha. Kind, indeed. So most of the companies in the incubator has no internet connection right now. My boss planned to use TIME's broadband (because we already use their service for the telephony) but it's too expensive and the package they offered is not as good as the Streamyx provided by TMNET. Did you know TMNET has been upgraded all their services? For example the 384 kb connection now has been upgraded into 512kb, while 512kb is now upgraded to 1mb. That's the kind of offer you don't wanna resist, right?

Din has gone to KL yesterday. The awards is today. I really pray that everything is going on smoothly. He even brought in his desktop, just in case. btw, the awars wwill be on the air next week, in NTV7's My Siasat. Can't wait to watch it- who knows I'll get a glimpse of my job :D

Jan 5th, Wednesday ~~ HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Ok, actually the new year wish is a bit too late, but I really wanna wish all of you a happy and prosperous year, more peaceful and more foetune, definitely. Also good health, of course. Oh, I have sooo many things to tell you guys (it's been a week since i last wrote here, sorry, sorry) but one thing at a time, ok? So let's roll it~~

1st Jan- As I said earlier, I just sat in front of the computer the whole day- from 8.00 am until midnight. Ahaks. This is worse than anything else. Sound pathetic, no? And the tv also didn't show anything fancy, in regards of the 26/12 Tsunami that sacrificied too many people, young and old, properties, animals. So sad. "Kun fayakunn"- that's the best conclusion I could think of. It happened too fast- in a blink of eyes the big waves came and took everything with it.

2nd Jan- Met beloved lanun. Again, talked a lot ever mocha, had lunch and then he had to go back to Lumut. Grinning from ear to ear :) it's a wonderful feeling, really. Just sitting there and talked and looking at him, it tugged at my heart. Got the book- One For My Baby. thanks hon :)
After that I went to the office. Remember the freelance job I got? They were going to present it on Monday so I had to deliver my job to them. But he asked me to do this and that, and it became a long night. I finally finished it by 11.00 pm. Huh. So much of a weekend. And I missed Smallville. And the last episode of The Apprentice. Hu hu.
Anyway, my parents took my youngest brother to his new school- he's accepted the offer from this Al Ahmadi school, a school under JAIM, just like the one my sis Adut used to attend. And my sis said my parents cried to see him away. I know.. it's hard especially because he's the youngest and the closest to my mom. Plus he's very picky at his food ( he only eat chicken, any traces of fish -even ikan bilis will make him throw out ) so I do hope he's coping with the new lifestyle nicely.

3rd Jan- Stayback. Not too late this time, since the client gave thumbs up for my job :D except a few minor typing error. And a few more video clips to put into it. No problemo. Stayed until 9.00 pm.
Actually there's a tory I wanna share with you all, about this freelance job I got. Just a few weeks before, while I was sitting in the incubator's surau, I picked this book- a payers book. And I found a doa that I've always wanted to cite but unable to do so. It's the ayat 1000 dinar. Said it works wonder for those who seeks fortune. So I read it, tried to memorize it, and after a feww days I managed to do so. Alhamdulillah, not long after that I got the phone call from Dean, asking me if I am interested to do the job with him. I almost jumped at the opportunity. So guess it's right. Maybe it's just the right time, or coincidental you might say but I have faith in myself and in Allah, and it's like the most right thing to do. Prayed to Allah, for He's very fond for those who asked from Him. Trust me.
Oh, and did I tell you about my other freelance job? Yup, just got one today. Ahamdulillah. More easier, just an interface layout or two. Couple hundreds per design. Times two. And one of the layout will be use for 10 other pages, same layout just different colors or theme and different pictures. Might charge one RM50 per. Times 10. Plus flash banner for free. Too easy ( the flash banner ), I didn't how much they have to pay for it. Wow. I know I luurrrveeee this job :)

4th Jan- Stayback, again. But I managed to catched Legacy at TV3 :D Lanun definitely will scream if he sees the way I drove tonight :P

5th Jan- That's today. Lanun dear had a night flying tonight at 9.00 pm. Landed safely at 10.17 pm. Alhamdulillah..
I finished reading the book. Honestly, I thought it was the 3rd part from his 2 previous books I read- Man & Boy, Man & Wife. Except that it's not. It's actually a new story by Tony Parson too. But the stories are good. Very good. Alfie, the main character still can't forget his wife whom died from an accident when they are diving in the ocean. So he just continues his life without any other women that he thought suit him the way his wife did. Except that none of them is right for him. And right until the end he didn't find the one. Pity him. Got another book to read :) I'll spare it for the weekend, I guess :)
