Nov 29th, Monday ~~ Sweet 25th :)

Alhamdulillah, all praise be upon Allah for all His luxury and giving to me all this years. Am contented with all I have, and pray more good things will come my way, insya Allah..

Also thank you to all of my friends who sent me happy-birthday sms nonstop from last night till this morning ( still have time to do so ;) ) esp Sila, Syaq, Iera, Azie, Ann, Kaliz, teknikJB~ian,Bg Udin, Adut and of course, Lanun dear. Thanks all, this all is a reminder for me to be more grateful to have people who loves me.

And yup, I got my birthday present from him- something very, very useful & just the thing I've been looking for. Most importantly, it was RED in color =P thanks hon.. also to Seneng- the pearl brooch is lovely...thanks!

So today is a new day for me, a very important day because today, 25 years ago I was born into this world. So I change my layout ( again ) hope this time it will stay longer :). Still purple. Any comments, please do so. Still learning :)

Nov 27th, Saturday ~~ Unstoppable

Too busy today- though the task was unexpected. I was trying to installed the new code for KTIM's guestbook, wrote by the practical student. But somehow the outcome isn't what I wanted. When we tried it on my local pc it worked alright but when I uploaded it to the server it still displayed the first comment first ( the order should be sorted by id, descending so that the last post will be on the first page.) So we ( the trainee & myself) tried to solved it- changed the sort to postdate but to no avail. And somehow in the process I did something that make all the name gone, replaced by 0 digit. Oh, am so furious! And the delay- 6-7 seconds - really doesn't help with it.

Finally after changing the code didn't succeed, I uploaded the whole folder from my pc to the server ( after making a backup of the current one ), which means I will lost all data but it's the best solution I had at that time. ALhamdulillah, finally we made it. Faisal ( the trainee ) said maybe it's because the structure isn't the same, that's why the first attempt was failed. Anyway I will try to put back the old data in the new database. Finally I got to go back at 2.30 pm. Huh. My stomach was already singing Linkin' Park song.

Arrivde home, I prayed and had my lunch while watching the 2nd cd of Unstoppable. Then suddenly I had a call from my old friend- Kaliz- saying she's otw to my relative's house, Imah (whom coincidentally is her colleague at UM Hospital- they both are nurse ) so she asked if I could come over there because she wanted to meet me but she might not be able to come to my house coz she had other plan after that. I said sure, and after 6 years we didn't meet each other there're a lot to catch up with. She still looked the same, maybe a bit slimmer from our school days. We went to the same school in the same class ( 1-3 Falah, SIS Jasin ) and when I took the offer to continue my study at Teknik JB, I didn't know that she got the offer as well, and more suprisingly we got the same stream- Agriculture. So another 2 years with her- we became pretty close since there are not many students from MElaka at that time. She still single, too busy with her job I guess. Fret not my friend, the time will come :)

Nov 24th, Wednesday ~~ More Open House

Last night we ( mak, adut, ucin, radi & myself ) slept over at my sis' new house to help her prepared for her open house today. I made ice cream pudding, mak cooked corn castard, my bro help my bro in law cooked ketupat. So during lunch hour I went to her house- already full with guests- hers & bg udin's colleagues. The food- chicken rice and ketupat with sambal kacang. yummy.

On my way driving to & fro her house to my office, I saw a flower tree that I haven't see for quite a while- the 5 0'clock tree ( Pokok pukul 5 ). It was named that way because its flower changes color but not necessarily at 5 pm. for example this morning it was pure white, on the afternoon it was pink and late in the evening it turned into dark pink, almost purple. I still remembered the flowers from my school days. It was planted 7-8 metres from my school. I was a prefect back then, and whenever I dutied at the front gate I will go out there and plucked one. The color still changed even though it wasn't attached to the tree anymore. Such an extraordinary kind of flower, isn't it? Maybe I can plant it at my house.
Err...boleh en lanun? =P

Nov 23rd, Tuesday ~~ Open House

Went to Mie's house last night with my bro. He invited us to his house so we came- almost all of us from Blossom Impression & Lyaz Enterprise ( our partner ). His mother cooked delicious fried mee. Thanks Mie! (

And this morning when Azhar arrived at the office he told me that Majidee ( one of our scanning operator ) was involved in an accident on his way back from Mie's house last night. It was his fault actually- he tried to get passed the green light at a junction when the yellow light has already blinked so he crashed into another motorcycle. His friends helped him- took him to the clinic and reported the accident. There goes the RM300. Plus the bike is not his. He looked ok, the doctor said nothing serious except a few bruises at his temple and his body. So he wasn't admitted into the hospital but the guy he hit got in. Don't know how serious the injuries. But this morning Majidee complaint about his pounding head. This are the price you have to pay when you drive recklessly. Remember that, Wann!

6 days to go..=P

Nov 18th, Thursday ~~ Raya Celebration

Back to work today. Actually I was supposed to start work yesterday but I didn't know that =P when I sms my boss yesterday he said we already open back on Wednesday. Muahahhaha...served me right. Raya sakan... So let me tell you a bit about my Hari Raya celebration. Most of it were the great memories, but unfotch still one and two sad memories. Anyway, here goes~~

Since I already live at kampung, so the term 'balik kampung' doesn't apply to me =P on raya morning after prayer we had ketupat and lemang with rendang daging cili padi, sambal santan special and ayam masak merah. A few relatives came, shook hands, hugging and asked for forgiveness. Duit raya was passed around, of course. Guess this are the time for the children to get easy money :) After that we all went to my grand mother's house. It's nearby, just next to my village ( still in Umbai ) after that we went to other houses- the elders in our family. My family is very, very big especially in my mom's side. Just imagine- she has about 40 siblings ( from different mothers, same father ) and they all are married with childrens, many of them. It would be impossible to go to all of their houses so it cut the time we just went to their mother's and of course they all were there, right? I just ate a little and drank as little as I could to avoid stomach ache.

That night Lanun dear came with his family- his parents, 2 sisters with their spouses and children. Meriah betul :) I just got a glimpse of him- too shy to come out so I just sit behind the wall. They all were calling me 'mak usu' now :)

We came to his house the next day- his mother invited us for lunch. Since he's coming back to lumut that day so we don't have much time to stay longer there. It was raining that day, alhamdulillah he made it to Lumut safe & sound though 2 hours late from the usual time.

3rd hari raya- it's time to spend with my old friends from SIS Jasin. Went to Azie's house & Ann's house at Bemban. Muni joined us too, still a bit sad about her son but after a while listening to all our stupid jokes she managed to put it behind her, period. Unfotch Iera & Ajun couldn't be there too, otherwise it's the reunion of SIS Pirates =P muahahha...you wouldn't believe some of the stuff we did back then..he he..sweet memories!

My pet bro came on the 4th hari raya with his wife Kak Seri & son Lukman Nur Hakim. He looked sooo cute!! ( the son ) Already 1 year and 2 months old, he's just like ordinary child running here and there, wanna touch something and break everything! Clever boy, I could see that. Thanks for coming bro! Also before that I went to my old buddies' house in the village- Sahar's and Rafizan. We live nearby but it's the only time we see each other. Too busy with our own life, I guess. Plus they all didn't live here anymore, so it's kinda difficult to keep up with them. Anyway I was just as happy to see them :)

So today I'm back in the office...continuing my neverending works. Lanun dear are having a 4-days aviator course at Genting right now. Take good care hon and all the best.

2.35pm~~ Just came back from Jaya Jusco, having lunch with Ben. It looks like we are the only ppl who worked today at the incubator! My trainee came too but he's already went out so that leaves me & Ben. Had Nasi Goreng Pattaya Paprik Ayam with ice lemon tea. Whoaa..I really can't believe the crowd today-I had to wait almost 20 minutes for my food. Guess they all were tired of eating kuih raya and starting to look for the real food ;)

Lanun dear called while I was waiting for at the stall. Asked about my stomach- yesterday I had gastric coz I had coke too much. Thanks hon, feel better already just listening to your voice..

Nov 10th, Wednesday ~~ Cry A River

Yesterday when I came back from work I got a raya card from muni ( whose son passed away yesterday ) and at the end of the card she wrote down the name of her husband and her son, Muhammad Afiq. Upon reading his name I burst into tears right away. It's like losing a family member, really. Lanun was there when they buried him and said her condition was not good at all. Siapa yang sanggup terima dugaan macam ni? mak selalu kata, kalau boleh biarlah mak yang sakit @ pergi dulu, jangan anak- anak yang pergi meninggalkan mak. When I called her she just couldn't stop crying and sobbing. She was so afflicted at the loss of her son. Wish I could be there to comfort her.. I said be patient, ini semua dugaan Allah dan Allah itu Maha Mengetahui. Redha lah dengan pemergian Afiq, banyak- banyak baca ayat suci Quran untuk arwah, sebab itu saja cara nya kita nak berhubung dengan Afiq.

But I guess it's easier said than done. I know.. I myself had to stop in the middle when I cited Yassin for Afiq too many times coz I can't stop crying. I just hope she took all this slowly and with her mind still focus on what's more important in her life. At least she still has her husband and her family, not forgetting her loyal friends and together I know they will overcome the grief and took the next step in their life. Hopefully.

Nov 9th, Tuesday ~~ Al-Fatihah

Ucapan takziah kepada sahabat baik Asmuni Ali yang kehilangan anak lelakinya Mohd Afiq bin Fairol pagi ini. Semoga Allah mencucuri rahmat ke atas rohnya..

Al Fatihah

Nov 8th, Monday ~~ Shoes Hunting

Took my bro & sis went shopping for hari raya yesterday. 1 hour and a half surveying the shops for tudung and another 1 and half hour searching for new shoes at MP. My legs hurts like crazy. Haus tak terkata! Anyway glad my sis & I finally found a shoes at the last store. Otherwise the shopping spree meant nothing but a tired and hurtful experience for the three of us. Didn't buy any tudung coz didn't found any that matches my clothes.

And after that we went to MMC ( next to MP) to visit my nephew Emeer whose being admitted to the hospital this morning for his asthma. Pity him, just 2 weeks ago he's admitted to the same hospital. Hope his condition gets better today.

Nov 6th, Saturday ~~ White Umbrella

Yesterday after Jumaat prayer I went to the town to settle my bills and post something. It's starting to rain soon, and luckily I brought along my umbrella. And whenever I opened it everybody started to stare at me. Well, not at me actually- it's the umbrella that cought their attention.
I bought the umbrella in Singapore, last year. If any of you remember about me writing about how badly I wanted a transparent umbrella after watching a chinese movie, I asked my relatives in Singapore to look out for it for me ( since I couldn't find it here). Lucky me, they found it ( and all of them bought one for themselves too =P ). Mine is white in color, so transparent you can see right through it. I really really like it and even buy another one, this time yellow color. There's only one thing about the transparent umbrella- it's no use if you use it during a bright day- it can't shield you from the hot day.

Nov 4th, Thursday ~~ :)

Yesterday I saw 2 incidents- one at the Petronas petrol station and the other one at the post office.
The first one is an accident between a car and a motorcycle with 2 riders, a Chinese male & female. The car just enter the junction and of coz she slowed down her vehicle. And then this bike, following behind the car trying to enter the junction too suddenly hit the back of her car and BUM! The car stopped, both of them fell down, and I think their helmets were broken too ( can see the pieces on the road ). The guy ( suprisingly ) still managed to got up to his feet ( usually just after an accident, our legs will be slightly wobbly and unstable ) and walk to the car's driver to put her car aside while his female friend seems alright too, able to got up and inspecting the bike.
From my point of view, the car driver has done nothing wrong- she just driving like usual, nothing dangerous about it but the bike is the one that coming too fast and maybe he was trying to overtake the car. But I don't know the whole story so I just hope both of them are alright and they all managed to settle it down nicely.
Then we ( Ben & I ) went to the post office. This is where the second incident took place. I was waiting outside the building in my car while Ben went inside to post something. The parking space was quite limited there, and many people were coming in at that time. Then this uncle ( I called him pak aji coz he was wearing a white baju melayu and sarong with a white kopiah ) came out from the post office. He was so furius when he found out that a car was parked right behind his car that he couldn't reverse the car and left the area. He paced right and left, mumbling something, and at one point he even put one of his leg on the car just like gangsters in the old days used to do. It was so funny seeing a pak aji acted like that. After a looong time ( 15-20 minutes ) finally the owner came. A young tall, skinny guy. This is their 'conversation' =P :

Pak Aji : Ni kereta awak?
Young Guy : ( Nodding his head ) Ha ah
Pak Aji : Akai takde ke? ( Akal takde ke?) ( While pointing his finger to his own head)
Young Guy : Eh, kau tak boleh sabar sikit ke? (looking at pak aji with murderous eyes )
Pak Aji : Apsal parking kat belakang kereta saya?
Young Guy : Eh takkan kau tak nampak parking penuh tadi?
Pak Aji : Kat situ kan banyak kosong ( pointing at somewhere )
Young Guy : Tadi kat situ penuh..kalau kosong takkan aku nak parking kat belakang kereta kau.
Pak Aji : ( couldn't hear what he said )
Young Guy : Ah kau tak boleh sabar sikit.. ( continue saying something )

And after that both of them got into their cars and sped out of the place. Phew. I thought the guy was going to punch the pak aji. Thank Allah, they both managed to control themselves. The guy was a bit rude I think, and after waiting about 20 minutes the pak aji also has the right to be pissed off a bit.

Also I wanna wish all of form 5 students whose sitting for SPM exam which started this morning ( officially; my sister started last Saturday because she is taking Syariah paper ) especially my dearest sister Adut- don't worry gal, your efforts will definitely be paid off!. She got 5 A's in the trial exam, so I'm pretty confident that she'll get better result in the real exam, insya Allah..

Nov 2nd, Tuesday ~~ Not Well

Spent most of the lunch break lying in the surau. I have gastric, so the pain is quite unbearable. Not in my stomach, but the upper part- 'ulu hati', as my mom always said. Must be cause of the sambal goreng I had for sahur today.

Nov 1st, Monday ~~ Raya Mood

What a weekend. Went to KJ ( Kampung Jawa - a shopping haven for festives season ) with mak & abah to buy new carpet to replace the old one ( it's really old- more than 15 years ), paints, brushes, etc etc. Then rearrange all the furniture upstair ( we have serambi ) to start the painting.

Also I finally finished sewing my baju raya ( baju kurung ). Next week I'll pick up the other one ( the one that matches Lanun dear.) Yeah, the one that cost me hundred something. Fuh. Never thought that it will be that pricey.

Still 2 weeks to Hari Raya. So many things to do, so little time. Will start bake kuih raya this week. Hopefully ;)

New practical student came to start the 5-months training today. Forgot about that already, thanks to Ben who reminded me on our way to work. So I just brief him a little about the company and gave him his first task ( more like my task ;) ) i.e to find a new guestbook to replace the current one we use in KTIM portal. He he... so convinient to have one assistant around =P. Plus he knew more about PHP than me, so it's good to have him in the team.
