Ex-Chief James E. O'Connell
It is with deep regrets the Chief's Office
of the Wantagh Fire Department
announces the passing of Ex-Chief James E.
O'Connell on August 4, 2001.
| James E. O'Connell of Forked River, NJ.
Formerly of Wantagh, NY on August 4, 2001 at the age of 75. Beloved
husband of Doris. Loving father of James (JoAnn) and Robert (Arleen). Caring
grandfather of Sondra and Jamie. Dear brother of Raymond. Also survived
by many nieces and nephews. Mr. O'Connell was an ex-chief of the Wantagh
Fire Department where he was a member for 42 years, and a former member
of the Levittown Fire Department for 7 years. Mr. O'Connell worked
as a foreman in the press room of the New York Times for 45 years. |
