Log # 30

We decided that we would not last another night out here in this bitter cold.  My feet were bitter cold.  Infact the only person who seemed warm was Skye.  I believe it had something to do with the cloak she was given earlier from Katherin.
Nightfall came and we had not looked really hard.  Tollers rode ahead to see if he could find anything sutible.  Minutes after he left our elven friend Cercie returned with very good news.  She had found shelter.  We all walked back to the site and found it to be an abandoned Halfling's hole.  I left to get Tollers while the others prepared the hole.  We each took a watch and the night went past smoothly.  During my watch I casted a detect magic spell on the the party.  It turns out that the cloak has some magical properties, alteration I believe.  To my surprise I found that Cercie's new sword had some type of magical property aswell.
Morning came and we quickly made our way to the castle.  Upon arrive the party made there way right to the gate.  I took my horse and Tollers to the stables and the horse market.  I sold mine and payed for Tollers stable fees.  While the others made fools of themselves, I bought new clothes and took a bath before I arrived on the scene.
We were escorted to a very nice inn.  We happened to run into bad luck though.  For on our way out the elder princess appeared and we had to knee.  Mithramir was then attacked, for the guards saw his hand on his weapon and mistook him for an assassin.  That and the fact that we looked like beggars for the most part.
Everything calmed down, and us, the fools were taken to our inn.  For the rest of the week I helped out around the inn.  I attempted to learn some new spells, but failed at a stupid riddle, and with that I decided I didn't want to bother.
