The launchpad

You stand on the west side of the launchpad. The tinkers have built a crossbow
big enough for the biggest giant to use. It takes four to ready the crossbow
for a single shot. A small board is fixed into the slot where a bolt would
normally be loaded. To the east is the entrance to the launchpad.
A giant crossbow rests here, aimed and ready.

The launchpad
[Exits: north east (south) west]
Built with a dozen tree's worth of lumber, this launchpad is the base for the
Airborne Tinker Guard. One of the newest and most dangerous divisions of
Gnomish Security, the members of the Airborne Tinker Guard utilize the latest
equipment. To the north is a massive platform. To the east and west are
secondary launchpads, and to the south is an open space near the top of the
cavern.
A giant catapult sits here, ready to fling gnomes through the air.
