Scenario Editors for the Pacific File

These editors permit the easy addition of forts, ships and level bombers.

Ships for a country appear within the "Fighter" unit type. Level bombers are in the "Tac Bomber" unit type. Fort units appear in the "Anti Tanker" unit type, forts are only available for a single country.  For example if using the "Japanese Forts Scenario Equipment File" only the Japanese player gets forts.

Very Important!! These scenario editors replace the Equip97.eqp and Equip97.txt files within the main Panzer General 2 folder. Before using you should create a new folder within the main Panzer Genenal 2 folder called "Backup file".  Put a copy of the normal Pacific File Equip97.eqp and Equip97.txt files within the main Panzer General 2 folder into the "Backup file" folder. For each different scenario editor equipment file you down load you should create a new folder within the main Panzer General 2 folder. Example: If you down load the "Japanese Fort Scenario Equipment File" copy it into a new folder called "Japanese Equip File". When playing copy the Equip97.eqp and Equip97.txt files from the Backup folder, when editing copy the scenario editor file you want from the relevant folder.

Instructions

1. Click on the scenario editor you want and down load it on your own computer.

2. Unzip the downloaded file into your Panzer General 2 (the one used for Pacific General) main folder.

3. Run Panzer General 2 as normal.

4. Use the scenario editor, all the new units are available.

5. After creating the scenario don't forget to put the Equip97.eqp and Equip97.txt used to create the scenario into a separate folder.
