Warhammer..... What?
Warhammer is a roleplaying game. You are given a charcter whos stats and traits are determained by the roll of a dice (see the warhammer manual). These special dice are:- 4 sided (d4) 6 sided (D6) 8 sided (d8) 10 sided (d10) 12 sided (d12) 20 sided (d20) 100 sided (d100). Once your character has been created the gamemaster (GM) will put you in a number of sticky situations where you may have to fight your way out using you weaponskill or be a smooth criminal by talking your way around using your fellowship. Expirence is gained at the GMs discresion which may be spent on new careers, stats or skills.

GM.... what's that?
The gamemaster is everything. He controls every character that is not a Playerable Characer (PC), these are called Non-Player Characters (NPC). The GMs word is law and there isn't a thing anyone can do about it. He writes up the storyline, draws all the maps and almost everything else involved in the game. It's a tough job so show him some respect.

What's all these letters at the top on the charactor sheet?
These are your stats. They are:- Movement, Weapon skill, Balistic skill, Strength, Toughness, Wounds, Initiative, Attacks, Dextarity, Leadership, Intelegence, Coolness, Willpower and Fellowship. Each skill can be used in different situations. eg. wounds are your health in battle where as fellowship is your ability to comunicate with other people.

But how do I use these stats?
Well, these stats are measured between 1-100 so you would have to roll under your score with a d100:- Weapon skill, Balistic Skill, Initiative, Dextarity, Leadership, Intelegence, Coolnessm, Willpower and Fellowship. All the rest except wounds and attacks are measured between 1-10 so a d10 should be rolled. Wounds and Attacks never need to rolled against because their range is infinate.
