Bretonnian Commentary: On the Knight’s march towards the Lands of Araby where the Holy Crusades were being fought, the Bretonnian General decided to pay a visit to the Holy Shrine in the Border Land of Taradt. However, a horrible desecration lay in wait for them, for upon the same grounds a battle was being fought between green skins and armies from the neighbouring Empire.
The General and his knights were furious! The sight of green skin and the fact that the Empire forces had chosen this sacred land to fight them was enough to send any Bretonnian mad. Moreover, Empire Wizards occupied the Shrine itself! The General motioned his troops to take position on the neighbouring hills and prepare for attack by kneeling into prayer to the Lady of the Lake beseeching her blessing.
The Bretonnian General’s strategy was based on some main targets he felt the Lady wanted him to achieve:
Thus the two knightly cavalries were positioned on the left hand side, heading towards the greenskin army. Lancred, mounted on his dragon, Orion, would swoop over the Empire forces and charge the greenskin army from the back. Once the green skins were out of the way, they’d try to negotiate the hand over of the Holy Shrine back to their rightful owners, the Knights of Bretonnia.
Note : The Bretonnians cast a Blessing which forces the opponent(s) to shoot successfully on a 4+. As a side effect the Bretonnian army starts last.

Bretonnian Commentary: Whilst the red sun continued to increase in size, the Bretonnian longbows managed to kill two green skin counterparts. The Bretonnian Wizards, as yet unprepared for battle, only managed to stutter intelligible words which left no effect on the battlefield. Lancred, advancing towards the Empire flank, tried to scare off the Empire knights with some lightning and managed to do so without hitting anyone.

Bretonnian Commentary: The red sun was enormous now and the heat of the battlefield was increasing. Lancred was attacked by a fiery spell from one of the wizards in the shrine and suffered a wound. Other magical attacks failed. Cerondo still beholding the oncoming sun was relieved to see that the Bretonnian sorceress mumblings were actually words to dispel and stop the falling comet. It disintegrated to the spearmen’s cheers. Half the Squires (decoys) were killed to oncoming missiles whilst the war machines failed horribly.

Bretonnian Commentary: Combat resumed with the Questing Knights continuing where the General had left, destroying the Orc Boyz and charging Rock Lobber whilst the Shaman’s chariot destroyed the bowmen atop the central hill. Orion, in the meantime, did handy work of the chariot destroying it and leaving the Orc boss on foot who fled away from the raging beast but was trampled in its pursuit. The remaining Orcish forces not yet in combat fled in panic and off the battlefield.
