Fuck the RIAA

I was downloading some songs off of kazza lite ++ today like I always do "yea, I know its illegal, shut up I don't want to hear it", and I came across something that really really pissed me off. I was trying to find a copy of Nine inch Nails - Closer. Well, I began downloading a copy, and started listening to it. About 20 seconds into the song, this horrible, awful noise like a dog getting a coffee can sized enema began playing through my head phones. My teeth began chattering wildly as I frantically searched for the stop button. "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS SHIT?!" I said to myself after I took off my head phones. I thought my computer had finally went on the frits. Well, I rebooted "like an idoit. I'm a computer technician in training, I should have known it was a software error, not my OS" and I tried playing the file again.

About twenty seconds into it, it started the horrible shrieking sound again. So I deleted the file and tried down loading another copy. Same thing happend. I was like, "What the fuck?". I played some of the other songs I had already put on my computer, and they worked perfectly, so It wasn't my Windows media player 9. Finally, I down loaded another copy of the same song from a dial up user "it took me like 8 minutes to download the file. I'm on cable. That just burned my grits. Going so slow and being on cable. I'm a speed freak."

Well, that copy worked just fine. I got on some forums I'm always on and asked a few friends about the strange song, and they said its called a "spoof". Its a file the RIAA puts on P2P clients for people to download. It plays half of the song, and the rest it just jarbles and scrambles up the words and music, making the downloaded file unusable. It suppose to make you buy the CD of the song or something like that.

I'm not going to waste my money so some loser who didn't try hard in school can get my money because I like his music. Screw him, let him work a normal job like me.

Anyways, be wary of these "spoofs" on the P2P cleints like Imesh and Kazza. They hurt your ears and piss you off badly. Now I know for shure I'm not going to go out and buy the song, because these fuckers made me mad by messing up the music. I will not support them at all. I use to buy the music to have an original copy, but not anymore. Not so they can mess up the songs on there. The music I downloaded was like a sample to the CD. This page was not meant to be funny. It was meant to be a warning.
