One of the Storm hockey regulars had experience with some of the local fishing areas, and Steve took it upon himself to enlist his services to take the family on a fishing expedition. The Warings arose early on a Sunday morning in May and drove an hour to the nearly lake, then challenged the fish to try their best to elude their tempting lures. |

| Alina's lure proved not to be a temptation whatsoever, and she caught nothing more worthwhile than the occasional clump of lake weeds. She does better tempting the fisher-persons with ham and turkey sandwiches. Steve did catch a little fish which got admired, photographed, then returned gratefully back into the water. He also lost his favorite lure, which some sneaky fish apparently sprited away, perhaps to display to its friends. |

| Lewis also didn't catch very much, but did spend several hours patiently tending his fishing pole, until he cleverly devised a way to prop the pole on the shore. He could then spend his time pursuing more productive activities, such as pestering Patrick while keeping an eye on the lure, in case it dipped under the surface, suggesting the capture of a fish. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
