Steve had been coaching his kids to play hockey as soon as they were big enough to toddle around on skates and wield a hockey stick. It had been his greatest fantasy to have his boys play hockey alongside of him, and this year, his dream came true. At least his dream came true some of the time. With the Central Kansas Storm, the boys played hockey faithfully on Wednesday and Sunday nights. Sometimes Steve's boys played with him. Often times, they played against him. But Steve proved that he could still take his boys in a fair fight! |

They all like to scrimmage the best, but the Storm was a well-disciplined group, and they spent an hour each session working out, skating laps both forward and backward, as well as doing passing and shooting drills. |
