Jackboot Mutiny Released:
1955 Jackboot Mutiny was
one of the last films made by German director G.W. Pabst. The movie recreates
the events of July 1944 when an attempt was made to kill Hitler using
a bomb in a briefcase. Hitler survives and his Nazi machine embark on
a hunt for the ringleaders of the attempted coup including Colonel Claus
von Stauffenberg. Black and White, in German with English subtitles. |
