(IRISH) DIVISION
Formed in Ireland
in September 1914 as part of the Second New Army. Arrived in France
in December 1915. Served in France and Flanders until April 1918 when
the Division was reduced to Cadre and returned to England. The Division
was reconstituted and returned to France in July 1918. Served in France
and Flanders until the Armistice.
