73rd DIVISION

The Division was formed in Blackpool in November 1916. The Infantry was provided by breaking up the 9th Provisional Brigade and the 189th Brigade, 63rd Division. The Division remained in Great Britain on Home Defence Duties, and was started to be broken up in January 1918. The break up of the Division was completed in April 1918.
