NEWFOUNDLAND REGIMENT Although this Regiment was formed in Newfoundland, Canada and was continually reinforced from Newfoundland it was actually part of the British Army. 1st Bn. Formed in Newfoundland in Aug 1914 attached to the 1st Canadian Division.
