This Griffon started out as a Eagle's eye and grew from there. In his original paper version his neck and nose are a tad elongate but the wonders of modern science have healed him of that. It's cosmetic surgery for artwork! I was going for feathery fur and I think I got it or at least as close as one such as I can achieve presently. Don't you just love his ear tuffs, I'm particulary proud of those. Oh yes the moon isn't one of mine it's from ClipArt and is thus free of copywright (here's hoping anyway). This was designed as part of a two peice thing with the Dark Garnet picture (the b&w horse with a gem in it's head).
