There are many diffrent casings that you can use. If you are a beggnier try and stick to paper/cardboard casings instead of metal. Here are some of the casings I use:

You can use any case that has thick walls and is hollow . If you are using flash you don't need that thick of a wall. If your using BP and you want a powerful and loud explosion you should have thick walls. Here is a example:
