It was snowing and I knew the road was a sheet of ice under the coating of snow.
Traffic was light and I was listening for any indication
of trouble on my CB radio, when I heard there was an accident ahead.
The warning was typical. "Back it down northbound, you're coming to a stop at the bottom of the hill."
I throttled back as I crested the hill, slowing to a stop in the right lane
behind two cars. I set my brakes, my emergency flashers and
settled in for a wait. Then to my horror, I saw in my drivers side mirror
a truck sliding with the trailer angled to my lane!
I braced for collision as his trailer slammed into mine.
I am jack-knifed due to the force of the collision.

Then I bobtailed to Lafayette, Indiana where I got a new WABASH trailer.
