What is Koa Kua you ask?
History:
Koa Kua is a Mark Keppel High School Hi-Y Club. It was established in 1990. It was originally planned to be a YMCA club in the summer of 1989.
The name Koa Kua originates from Kokua, a Hawaiian word that means “Help”. The word Koa is a Hawaiian word that means “Warrior”, which helped to contribute to the title “The Warrian Brotherhood”.
Koa Kua also shares the name with high school service clubs, named Kokua, in Hawaii.

Koa Kua is an organization that helps out the community, socializes with other Hi-Y and Tri-Hi-Y clubs, and establishes a bond of brotherhood. Koa Kua encourages anyone to join. Acquaintances and Tryouts are usually every year around March - April and is available to all Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors. Acquantainces is the place to get to know all the brothers and see what Koa Kua has to offer.
Kiowa is are awesome, hot, and happening sister club. Don't forget to tryout for them as well. ki-ki-KIOWA
