Planning a Literature Course  - A Sample 2000 Course

Most of the ideas here come from a seminar at the University of Melbourne run by VATE in June 1999. The ideas below are a sample of how a course might be constructed, following the parameters of the course, and pointing out how a text might lead to an outcome.

Numbering refers to the UNIT, then the OUTCOME number - EG, IV,ii is Unit Four, Outcome 2

A/B refers to the Part A list and the Part B list. Only Part B texts will be on the exam.

a refers to Australian text; two must be included in the course design.
