Keep fear out. Give it no place whatever befalls you.

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind" 1 Tim.1:7

"So, beloved, since you are expecting these things ( vs.13-A new heaven and new earth wherein dwells righteousness), be eager to be found by Him [at His coming] without spot or blemish, and at peace - in serene confidence, free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts. And consider that the long-suffering of our Lord [His slowness in avenging wrongs and judging the world] is salvation, [that which conduces to the soul's saftey]; even as our beloved Paul also wrote to you according to the spiritual insight given him......But grow in grace (undeserved or earned favor, spiritual strength) and recognition and knowledge and understanding of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Messiah. To Him [be] glory (honor, majesty and splendor) both now and to the day of eternity. Amen - so be it!"2 Peter 3:14,15,18~ Amplified Version

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: Because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us." 1 John 4:18 & 19

Fear is often referred to as:

F~alse

E~vidence

A~ppearing

R~eal

It is always one of three things we fear:

Loss of life, or The Pride of Life

Loss of "rights", or The Lusts of the Flesh

Loss of things, or The Lusts of the Eyes

(1 John 2:16)

When entering any type of hardship; when encountering any kind of disquiet within our spirit; when feelings start to overwhelm us, it behooves us to ask ourselves just what it is, bottom line, that we are in fear of!

Fear is the "bottom line", underlying cause and foundation in all of our dealings with the world, people and things when we stop responding lovingly, with joy and in peace.

We fear what we do not know.

We fear actions and wind up paralyzed before we can even get started.

God knows all this and has chosen to tell all people that fear does NOT come from Him

and He tells us how to get rid of it...

One of the strongest things that fear will do is make excuses to the christian as to why they cannot do something. Our minds listen and agree!!

THAT is fear.

Here is something that I think you will understand that illustrates what I mean. As you read it, please notice that each "excuse" made were stemmed from fear and all responces the Lord's way leads to and produces faith.

You say: "It's impossible"

God says: All things are possible (Luke 18:27)

You say: "I'm too tired"

God says: I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28-30)

You say: "Nobody really loves me"

God says: I love you (John 3:16 & John 13:34)

You say: "I can't go on"

God says: My grace is sufficient (II Corinthians 12:9 & Psalm 91:15)

You say: "I can't figure things out"

God says: I will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6)

You say: "I can't do it"

God says: You can do all things (Philippians 4:13)

You say: "I'm not able"

God says: I am able (II Corinthians 9:8)

You say: "It's not worth it"

God says: It will be worth it (Roman 8:28)

You say: "I can't forgive myself"

God says: I FORGIVE YOU (I John 1:9 & Romans 8:1)

You say: "I can't manage"

God says: I will supply all your needs (Philippians 4:19)

You say: "I'm afraid"

God says: I have not given you a spirit of fear (II Timothy 1:7)

You say: "I'm always worried and frustrated"

God says: Cast all your cares on ME (I Peter 5:7)

You say: "I don't have enough faith"

God says: I've given everyone THE measure of faith (Romans 12:3)

You say: "I'm not smart enough"

God says: I give you wisdom (I Corinthians 1:30)

You say: "I feel all alone"

God says: I will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5)

These are all excuses the Body of Christ uses NOT to do anything great for the Kingdom of God. I pray as you read, that you have checked yourself for any of these "excuses" and if you saw yourself in them, you will repent and seek God's forgiveness.

When Jesus spoke about the condition of this church, He said that they were rich in spirit yet, they were cautioned by Him to make sure they would not be in fear...

Fear is the opposite of faith...

Faith is the opposite of fear...

Jesus said, If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to a mountain to be removed and it shall be removed.(Matt.17:20) Even with such tiny faith, great things can be accomplished. Why then are we not seeing more great things?

It is not, as some believe, that they have no faith as The Bible tells us that every man is given by God, THE same measure of faith (Romans 12:3) or, as we have read above, that their faith is so small.

In Mark 9:24, a man says to Jesus, "Lord, I believe, help Thou mine unbelief". What does he mean by "help"? Would it be appropriate to say that we could reinterpret this scriptures to say, "Lord, I believe. Please forgive my unbelief"? I believe so. And as any child of God knows, "when we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9) Our sins are removed and cast into the sea of forgetfulness as if we had not sinned (So great is the Power of His Blood).

What happens then, after our confessions of all doubt, unbelief, worry and fear, is PURE Faith!!

Those sins of worry doubt, unbelief and fear are like a casing that a seed has...it causes our faith to be ineffectual. With the sins removed, we are left with pure faith...

Jesus said in Mark 5:36 and Luke 8:50..."Only believe" or in other words....Believe ONLY...have no fear, doubt, unbelief or worry about the issue...Operate in faith ONLY! No matter the SIZE of your faith, Jesus said it would work FOR you!

I pray you will come against ANY fear of ANY thing and ask God to fill you with His boldness. He will you know!!!
