You Can Quote Me On That Banner

It's a pitty that ignorance has to be one of mans strongest traits. There are mongers that rely on that, they know people are looking for an easier softer way. When will people learn that you get what you put in, and that is true in every facet of our existance on this planet. It's that way on purpose, God knew we wouldn't appreciate anything unless we felt we'd earned it.

That goes for steroids too - easy come, easy go.

I was asked once who my favorite bodybuilder was I said
"That's easy it's me" . Seriously when it comes to bodybuilding I'm my no. 1 priority. These are the genetics I have to work with, these are the tools at my disposal, - a great trainer, a tremendous desire to succeed, an iron will , and of course a group of great guys to bounce my ideas off of and to have a few laughs.

Hail to the guys at ibcof

Some people are naturally strong but have a hard time putting on muscle. Some are not naturally strong and have an easy time putting on muscle. I fall into the second category. High intensity does a lot more for me than heavy weight, however I still try and do heavy weight several periods a year. Despite the fact my strength doesn't ever increase dramatically I continue to make good gains.

The biggest mistake in arm training is overtraining, as some of you know my story I have big arms 19" inches cold flexed. I know part of this is genetics but until I started doing arms only once a week they were 16.5, 17 at best. The secret is only once a week, low volume high intensity and periodization (meaning change how you are doing the muscle by changing your routine). You will find that some exercises work better than others for each individual you'll just have to find out what works best for you.

Even though my cravings are gone, I still dread having to eat chicken, it really makes me want ot gag. Last night I had a chicken omlett which wasn't too bad. It's not that I eat it so often I do get quite a bit of variety I guess it's just that i've eaten so much of it over the years. As for tuna I tried that idea somone had about the tuna burger without the bread I put some cheddar on it and stuck it in the microwave, it was pretty good.

I've been toying with the idea of using some slower digesting protein before sleep, currently I use a protein drink because it's more convenient, I also believe that taking L-glutamine helps which I have also been doing, something about it being the amino most used in muscle repair during sleep. Another important thing is to get that early moring protein shake in right away, my one question is if you are doing early morning cardio (to lose fat) should your shake be taken before or after this session.

If I thought I could continue to lose fat and not do aerobic exercise; aerobics type exercise would be crossed off my list. I hate running, biking and most aerobic activity, but for me I think it's necessary. I'm an easy gainer and a hard loser.

Come on guys if you can present a good arguement why I can get away with doing extra cardio, I'll give it up.
I'm just waiting for a good excuse.

I look at bodybuilding/fitness as a journey not a destination, and the journey has no end so I just keep on travelling. It's not that I'm not elated with some of my accoplishments but you can always improve and thats what's great about it. And I'll use one of my favorite quotes and say...

"The joy is in the journey" not only in bodybuilding and fitness but in life."
