Sitting Alone

Sitting alone in my chair

Sitting alone without a care

The thoughts of uncertainty dwell in my head

Not knowing tomorrow's plan

And never sure if I should be alive or dead

When I'm feeling like I'm neck deep in sand

Sitting alone in my room

Sitting alone wondering when I will encounter my doom

The silence, a relenting shadow

Covering everything at the moment

In this desolate room that is hollow

And here I am with its enchantment

Sitting alone in solitude

Sitting alone with the same attitude
