Rights of the Rihannsu

........Within the Empire, all Rihannsu are created equal in honorable potential and are therefore to be respectfully treated according to their relative merit. The basic treatise of Rihannsu laws include the following:

The Right to Procreation.

The Right to own slaves, and to discipline them as necessary.

The Right to commit honorable suicide.

The Right to commerce, subject to the needs of the Empire.

The Right to present a defence at trial.

The right to apprehend and charge as a private citizen any criminal or enemy of the Empire.

....The Empire strictly forbids it's citizens these actions:

TTThe bearing of weapons (unless in military service or by Praetor's decree).

Any action not in the interest of the Empire.

Public dissention with the ideals of the Empire.

Publishing or distributing any subversive materials in opposition to the interest of the Empire.

Editor's Note: The use of any and all types of force (including deadly force) may be used in the apprehension of suspects by private citizens. However, if a suspect is killed and later proven innocent of the crime, the citizen will himself be put to death. All trial dates must be within one week of apprehension (Late justice is no justice at all.) and apprehended suspects must make a full and complete confession of the truth. Punishment is administered within one week of sentencing. There is no appeal.
