-separated the mission and crew pages to reflect the two different groups the ship is apart of.

September 2001
-Sept. 11, 2001 will go down in history as the worst terrorist attack ever. Both twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City collapsed after two 767 jets leaving Boston collided into them. A third jet leaving Dulles Airport in Washington, possibly targeting the White House, crashed outside the Pentagon. A forth jet, its target either Camp David or Capitol Hill, crashed outside of Pittsburgh after the possible retakeing of the airliner by the male passengers of the flight.
Back in New York, Tower 7, a 48 storey tower collapsed after fire struck it in the aftermath of the original collapse. Tower 5 had collapsed and parts of 1 Liberty Plaza have collapsed on Sept.13.
I will not go into casualties as too much have happened. This website has put up a memorial at this link. Our hopes and well wishes go out to the families and freinds affected by this tradgedy and many hopes go out for the finding of more survivors in the wreckage of both the World Trade Center Twin Towers and the Pentagon.
