Western Australian Singapore Business Council Inc Special Dinner with the Singapore High Commissioner 22nd October 2001
The Western Australian Singapore Business Council hosted a special dinner for the Singapore High Commissioner, His Excellency, Mr Ashok Mirpuri in the Camelot Room at the Red Castle Hotel on the 22nd of October. His Excellency was on an official visit from Canberra and took the opportunity to meet with up and enjoy a dinner with the committee, members and guests of the WA Singapore Business Council. The event started off at 6.00 pm with pre dinner drinks where everyone had the opportunity to mingle, network and meet up with the Singapore High Commissioner and his Defence Advisor, Colonel Richard Chua. The President of the Western Australian Singapore Business Council, Mrs Cecilia Wee welcomed and introduced His Excellency and Colonel Richard Chua. Mrs Wee gave a speech and the event proceeded afterwards with a sumptuous 3 course dinner prepared by the chefs of the Red Castle Hotel. After dinner, His Excellency, Mr Ashok Mirpuri updated the guest with the latest news from Singapore. He later fielded questions and addressed the concerns from those present. Desserts were served later and the evening ended with everyone having a further opportunity to mingle and network. The Western Australian Singapore Business Council Inc wishes to thank His Excellency for gracing our dinner and look forward to his next visit to Perth.
