Washburn Girl Weds Caribou Man

Miss Glenna Conley Bride of Sterling Levesque Wednesday

WASHBURN, Oct. 24 [1940]--Miss Glenna Conley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Conley and Sterling Levesque, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Levesque of Caribou. were married in an attractive home ceremony. Wednesday evening at 8 p. m.. at the home of the bride's sister. Mrs. Otis Levesque.

The single ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Lester Goodwin, a former pastor, assisted by Rev. Paul Bills of Fairport. N. Y., in the presence of 50 relatives and friends.

The bride was gowned in pink taffeta and complemented her gown with a corsage of sweet peas.

The maid of honor, Miss Verla Bull, also wore pink taffeta with a corsage of sweet peas.

The bridegroom was attended by George Conley, brother of the bride, as best man.

The home was decorated with autumn flowers and the arch under which the bridal party stood was of evergreen.

Immediately following the wedding an informal reception was held when refreshments were served by friends of the bride.

Mr. and Mrs. Levesque will live in Caribou, where Mr. Levesque has employment.

Mrs. Levesque was a member of the class of 1940 of Washburn high school.
