WASHBURN. Aug. 21 [1939]-- A pretty wedding was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Herrick at 8 o'clock Wednesday evening, when their daughter, Marguerite, became the bride of Paul Bills of Rochester, N. Y. The Rev. Lester Goodwin performed the single ring ceremony

under a decorated arch.

The best man. was Thomas Herrick, Jr.. brother of the bride, and the maid of honor was Miss Chesley Rouse.

Miss Herrick was dressed in a rose and white gown with a bouquet of white phlox and mixed sweet peas. Miss Rouse wore yellow lace and carried a mixed bouquet.

A reception was held immediately following the wedding, attended by a large number of friends and relatives. Refreshments of ice cream and cake were served during the evening. The young

couple received many gifts.
