Dorothy Gould of Washburn Engaged

Marriage to Rev. G. S. Johnson to Take Place Next Month

WASHBURN, Aug. 27 [1939] - Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Gould of Washburn announce the engagement of their niece, Dorothy M. Gould, to the Rev. G. Stephen Johnson, pastor of the Roque Bluff and Larrabee Baptist churches.

Miss Gould is a graduate of Washburn High School where she was a member of the National Honor society. She also attended a Rhode Island Bible institute for two years.

Mr. Johnson is a graduate of Rinbge Technical High School of Cambridge, Mass., and a Rhode Island Bible institute. He attended Wheaton college in Wheaton, Ill., and Gordon college of theology in Boston.

The wedding will take place in Washburn next month.
