Bouchey-Everett

WASHBURN, May 12 [1941] --An attractive wedding occurred at the home of Leon Wardwell of Perham, Saturday, May 2 at 7 p. m., when his niece, Pauline Mary Everett, daughter of Mrs. Denzil Wilcox of Washburn, became the bride of Milford Bouchey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bouchey of Washburn.

The single ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Robert Pinkham of the Washburn Pentecostal church, in the presence of immediate relatives and friends.

The bridal group stood under an arch of cedar intermingled with pink roses. The brides gown was white taffeta and rayon marquisette with long, full skirt, and she wore a fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of white carnations and sweet peas.

Her bridesmaid, Florence Bouchey, sister of the bridegroom, wore aqua taffeta in the same style as the gown of the bride, and carried a bouquet of pink carnations sweetpeas.

The two little flower girls, Rosalie and Marilee Wardwell, twin daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Wardwell of Perham, were dainty in white dresses, one trimmed with pink and the other blue.

The bridegroom was attended by Leon Wardwell, uncle of the bride.

Following the ceremony an informal reception was held, attended by approximately 175 quests from Perham and Washburn. Many beautiful gifts were received by the young couple, who will reside in Washburn.
