Washburn Girl Weds In Worcester

WASHBURN Sept. 5 [1943] -- A wedding of interest to local residents took place in Worcester, Mass., July 26, when Josephine Pooler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Pooler of Washburn became the bride of George Edward Fitzgerald of 10 Allendale street, Worcester, Mass. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Charles Dolan in St. Paul's church at 6:15 a. m., in the presence of immediate relatives and friends.

The bride wore a maize-colored suit with hat and accessories of white and corsage of sweetheart roses. Her bridesmaid, Annie Kenney, sister of the bridegroom, wore a blue suit with beige accessories and a corsage of gardenias.

The groom was attended by a brother, Harold Kenney of Putnam, Conn. Mrs. Fitzgerald was graduated from Washburn High school and previous to her marriage has been employed in Worcester. Mr. Fitzgerald is a graduate of Worcester schools and at present is employed in the Worcester Post Office. They plan to reside in Worcester.
