MARRIAGE ANNOUNCED -- Mr. and Mrs. John A. Doody of Washburn announce the marriage of their daughter, Laura Louise, to Harold Peterson, son of Mrs. Miles Peterson of Monticello. The wedding took place July 3 [1943] at the home of the officiating clergyman, the Rev. B. R. Patton of Presque Isle, who read the double ring ceremony. The bride was attractive in a blue dress and shoulder veil with white accessories. She wore a corsage of white carnations, baby's breath and fern. The bridesmaid was Miss Gertrude Patton of Presque Isle., who wore a luggage brown dress with white accessories. The best man was the Rev. Goods Foster of Monticello. Mr. and Mrs. Peterson left on the night train for Waterville, where they spent their honeymoon, and are now at home in Monticello.
