The room was attractively decorated with an arch of evergreens and carnations, and bouquets of cut flowers, planned and arranged by Mrs. Ernest Nutting, aunt of the bride. Mrs. Ruth Silver played the wedding march.
The bride wore a two piece street length rose dress. Her colonial bouquet was of mixed flowers. She carried a handkerchief which her mother and grandmother had carried.
The maid of honor was Miss Georgella Story, sister of the bridegroom. Her dress was light blue, and her bouquet was also a colonial one with mixed flowers.
The mother of the bride wore a street length dress of wine velvet with a corsage of white pansies and forget-me-nots. The mother of the bridegroom wore an afternoon dress of navy blue. Her corsage was of double buttercups and forget-me-nots.
The best man was Harry Fox, brother of the bride.
A reception immediately followed the ceremony. Mrs. Hazel Campbell had charge of the guest book. Mrs Ola Haynes and Miss Ruth Nutting were in charge of the gift table. About 200 guests were present.
After a short wedding trip the couple will make their home in Ashland, where Mr. Story will be pastor of the Advent Christian church.
