The bride's gown was fashioned on Moyen Age lines. The long basque bodice was of ivory tinted bridal satin with high round yoke of Chantilly lace. The sleeves were long and tapered to points over the hands. The shirt was made entirely of Chantilly lace over satin and terminated in a long fan shaped train. The fingertip veil, a double tiered effect of sheer illusion, was attached to a wreath of orange blossoms.
The bride carried a bouquet of white asters sprinkled with tube roses and fern, tied with white ribbon. The matron of honor wore a gown of royal blue taffeta and carried a corsage of pink roses with matching roses in her hair.
After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Everett motored to St. Augustine for short honeymoon. Mrs. Everett graduated from Washburn High school with honors in 1943. S-Sgt. Everett was graduated from Caribou High school in 1936 and completed one year at U. of M. He is now stationed at Camp Van Dorn, Miss., and Mrs. Everett is residing in Gloster, Miss.
