Mr. and Mrs. Henry McDonald

Mr. and Mrs. Henry McDonald, whose marriage occurred Oct. 18th [1943] in Rockville, Md., and who enjoyed a honeymoon trip home to Washburn by way of Washington and Virginia, were tendered a reception at the home of Mrs. Guy McDonald, mother of the bridegroom Wednesday evening. The rooms were decorated and Mr. and Mrs. McDonald stood under an arch of evergreen to receive their guests. A feature of the occasion was a wedding cake presented to the bride by Mrs. Atwood Sperrey.

There were about 200 guests, including some from out of town. The young couple received many gifts. Mrs. McDonald was formerly Marguerite Fisher, daughter of the late Mrs. Lester Goodwin, and was a graduate of East Providence, R. I., high school and Zion Bible Institute, R. I.
