ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED-The engagement of Miss Evelyn Bradford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Bradford of Central Street, Hallowell, to Kenneth J. Duncan, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Duncan of Washburn, was announced at a dinner party held at the Bradford home recently when Mrs. Bradford and Mrs. George Anderson, the prospective bride's sister, were the hostesses. Miss Bradford was graduated from Hallowell High school in 1939. She is a member of Granite City Rebekah lodge and is employed part time in the Department of Health and Welfare. Mr. Duncan graduated from Washburn High school in 1938 and is employed at the Bath Iron Works. No date has been set for the wedding.
