Bearers were: Ralph Eagan, Herman McLean, Truman McLean, and John McGowen.
Mrs. Clark was born in Ashland on April 23, 1911. She was graduated from the Ashland High school in 1928 and from Gorham Normal school in 1930. Before her marriage she taught for a short time at Star school near Masardis. She was member of the Ashland Congregational church and was pianist in John McGowan's orchestra. In 1930 she married Merle Clark of Washburn. In recent years she had been living in Westport, Conn., where she was employed in a stationery store and lending library.
She is survived by her husband, a construction engineer for the United States government; a son, Dennis, 10; her mother, Mrs. Kenneth Baker of Ashland, and a sister, Mrs. Lewis Hersey of Fort Fairfield.
Services were held in Westport on Saturday.
