Cpl. Blalack has been stationed at the Presque Army Air Base since September, 1942. The bride was dressed in a blue and white gown, blue net shoulder veil and white accessories. She wore a corsage of white carnations and pink roses. The bridesmaid was dressed in a pale blue net gown and white accessories.
Cpl. and Mrs. Blalack will make their home in Presque Isle for the present.
The bride's parents, Rev, and Mrs. Bernard Patton, gave a reception for Cpl. and Mrs. John Blalack. There were 100 guests present. Refreshments of cookies, cake, and ice cream were served by Mrs. Bernard Patton, Mrs. George Fulton, Mrs. Jenny Boulier, Mrs. Frank Glidden, Mrs. Arthur Carmichael, Mrs. Clyde Ryder, Mrs. Edmund Scudder, Mrs. Violet Lane, Miss Colene Glidden, Mrs. Eva Vance received the guests; Miss Maxine Walton was gift receiver, and Miss Edna Fuller, ushered.
