The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was beautifully gowned in white satin fashioned princess style with sweetheart neckline outlined in pearls, and with a train. Her finger-tip veil was attached to a lace halo. She carried an arm bouquet of while gladioli.
The matron of honor, Mrs. Harold Stoddard of Worcester, Mass., sister of the bride, was gowned in yellow net over yellow satin styled along princess lines; She wore a lace hat and carried an arm bouquet of orchid gladioli.
The flower girl, Little Miss Patricia Ann Stoddard, niece of the bride, wore a floor length dress of blue net over blue satin, with a lace hat.
The bridegroom was attended by Captain Martin Lynch, S.C., and ushers were: M-Sgt. Donald Eisensmith and Captain Frank E. Mirregan.
The traditional wedding marches were played by Mrs. Edna Cook.
The bride's mother wore a flowered print dress with white hat and a white iris corsage. The bride-groom's mother wore a gray print two piece ensemble with violet colored hat and a white irk shoulder bouquet.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's brother-in-law and sister. Mr, and Mrs. Edward Humphrey on the Caribou road, Presque Isle. Mrs. Owen Smith, cousin of the bride, was in charge of the wedding cake and Mrs. Clair Donahue served punch. Mrs. Edward Humphrey was in charge of the guest book.
Following the reception the bride and bridegroom left for a wedding trip. The bride traveled in a light blue suit with which she wore white accessories. The bride was graduated from Washburn High school and Aroostook State Normal school. She taught school for several years in Aroostook county and is at present employed at the Army Air Base.
Warrant Officer Nann was graduated from Somerville, N, J., and Pace Institute, New York City. Prior to enlisting in the Army he was employed by the Somerville Trust company. He is now stationed at the Presque Isle Air Base.
Warrant Officer and Mrs. Nann are at home to friends at 278 West State street, Presque Isle.
