The house was beautifully decorated with gladioli and summer flowers. The wedding march and incidental music were played by the bride's sister, Miss Joanne Crouse Mrs. Martin Rasmussen sang several selections.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attractive in a gown of white sheer marquisette full skirt en train. The full length veil was caught to a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a sheaf of white gladioli.
Miss Crystal Crouse, sister of the bride as maid-of-honor, was gowned in light blue sheer mar quisette and carried a sheaf of cameo gladioli.
Ralph MacKenzie, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, was best man.
Mrs. Crouse, mother of the bride was attired in navy blue sheer and wore a corsage of Talisman roses.
Mrs. Armstrong, mother of the bridegroom, complemented her ensemble with a rose corsage. Immediately following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served to the immediate family, at the home of the bride.
The couple left by plane for a short wedding trip. For traveling the bride chose a suit of gray with red accessories, complemented by a corsage of white gladioli. After the wedding trip the couple will make their home at 4 Cooper street, Machias.
