Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Mae Manzer, wife of Archie Manzer of this town, were held Monday afternoon, October 30th at one o'clock at the Baptist Church. The Rev. Nelson E. Felch officiated. Two favorite selections, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Jesus I Will," were sung by Mrs. Nelson Felch, Mrs. C. D. Wilder, Clayton F. Knox, with Mrs. H. J. Churchill Pianist. Bearers were H. J. Churchill, Ray Day, Henry Russell. Peter Espling. Interment was in the Crouseville cemetery.

Mrs. Manzer was born May 7, 1894, in Perth, N. B. On June 15, 1921, she married Archie Manzer, who survives her. She also leaves in passing five children: Mrs. George Colburn of Kissemmee, Fla.; Elizabeth Perry, Frederick and Dawn Manzer of Washburn; also two sisters: Mrs. Blanche Jameson and Mrs. Sadie Jameson of Presque Isle, besides several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Manzer died suddenly at her home Thursday evening and her passing caused sadness to her family and her many friends in Maine and Canada. She was a member of the local Baptist church and was interested in church activities. A devoted mother and faithful wife, she will be greatly missed by her husband and children. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved family in their sudden loss.

B.; Mr. and Mrs. George Grant, Bangor; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dinsmore, Easton.
