First Lt. Ellsworth K. Flewelling, 29, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Flewelling, 5 Dyer Street, Presque Isle, was killed in action in Germany December 23, while a prisoner of the Germans. The Nazis claim that his death was due to an air raid.
