HOOPER-DUREPO

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Emery D. Hopper of Seattle, Wash., was the scene of the marriage of Mrs. Annie Duncan Durepo and Ernest W. Hopper both of Seattle Saturday evening, March 3. [1945]

The bride, a former resident of Washburn and Presque Isle, was escorted by her cousin, Ernest M. Duncan. She was becomingly attired in a floor length draped gown of powder blue and a corsage of sweetheart roses and stephsonia. In her hair, she wore a coronet of sweetheart roses.

Mrs. Ernest W. Duncan, matron of honor, wore a spring print with gardenias.

The groom was attended by his brother Frank Hopper.

Little Billy Seamans carried the ring in a red rose fastened on white tulle and preceded the bridal party into the living room where Dr. Ostrander, in the presence of relatives and friends officiated, at the ceremony, held in front of the fireplace, which was banked with tulips, daffodils and spring greens.

Preceding ceremony, Mrs. Donald Niles sang "Beloved" ands "Until."

Mrs. William Fast and Mrs. William Seamans were in charge of the dining room and Mrs. Emery D. Hopper and Mrs. Alfred Thompson of Bellingham poured. Karen and Barbara Fast had charge of the guest book.

Mr. and Mrs. Hopper are now at home to their friends at 5416-21 N.E. Seattle, Wash.
