Caribou Girl Weds Wade Boy In Perham

WASHBURN, April 20 [1945] -- Pvt. Vaughn M. Dickinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy S. Dickinson of Wade, and Edith G. Tracy, daughter of Mrs. Herbert Kelly of Caribou, were married Wednesday evening, March 28, at the home of Rev. Read Blackstone of Perham.

Their attendants were Mary Dickinson, sister of the bridegroom, and the bride's cousin, William Sealander of Perham.

The bride's mother and stepfather also were present at the wedding.

The bride wore a white wool dress of street length, and a corsage of red roses. The bridesmaid wore blue with a corsage of yellow and the bride's mother wore navy blue with red roses.

The double ring service was used.

Pvt. Dickinson, of the United States Marine Corps, is stationed at Camp Lejeune, N. C., at present.

A reception was held the following evening, March 29th, at the home of the bridegroom's parents at Wade. They received many gifts.
